As someone with an MBA who is spending inordinate amount of time today using weird financial rules to maximize 2017 revenue recognition without providing any additional customer value...

It’s no coincidence that this was the era when the US car companies let the MBAs have complete control. They didn’t care about what product they made - they only cared about quarterly profits. The cars were just widgets to finance.

rip it out and re-do it yourself. I’m not even sure why everyone’s so butthurt over it sagging as much as they should be disappointed they haven’t found an easy way to re-do it. If you can see the engineering problem then come up with a solution on your own!

So, uh, as someone in the market for a 90s Cherokee: is there a good fix for this?

95% of Hemi-driving Murican’s would say you’re wrong.

I knew it. I’m surrounded by Assholes.

He is probably right, if there is no steering wheel or pedal, then fully autonomous cars wont get more than 100hp cause the AI will never try to use more than that. But if there is a gas pedal, you can be it will be connected to something powerful, cause thats what people want.

four of these will be sold before a driver blacks-out from the acceleration and totals one. My father in law got hazy in the brain from a sprint in a Model S in Ludicrous Mode. 0-60 in 1.9 seconds would probably get him (or someone like him) to pass out.

The scariest part is that this will become normal for an EV sedan in about 10-20 years. Once battery tech can ouput at +10C without wear, and motors become cheaper, you will get this performance in everything. I don’t know if I want to live in the world where people can go from 0 to dead before someone else has the

This is what I want underpinning all future police cruisers.

I have said it before and I will continue to say it. I have yet to see a single youtube “star” who is not a raging douche.

Would have been so much better if it went ZERO to 88 MPH

Jesus that second video. I somehow made it to 0:51 in before furiously clicking pause.

Even if the battery could produce enough Gigawatts it’s still 7 MPH too slow

aaahahahhahahahahhaha

Sorry, “... no training value”? C’mon.. that’s precision flying getting both balls the same size and to scale with the shaft.

They don’t use 18650's anymore. Model 3 uses 2170 cells.

It has a 200kWh battery. The P100D has a 100kWh battery. Add to that the fact that the Roadster is probably built to be lighter (excluding batteries) and more aerodynamic, I can see how the range is almost doubled.

Why? It’s extra braking power.

If this is real, like, REALLY REAL, this will be the hottest car in the history of cars.
