Don't install refit at all, use it as a live cd to repair the partition tables and that's it. Then the computer will default to osx if you do nothing and let you choose if you hold down option.

It runs all of my most important computers. Though I do have one mac.
Windows isn't even POSIX compliant unless you buy the "ultimate" version for several hundred extra. Whereas linux distributions are both POSIX compliant and free (gratis and libre for the most part).
Pretty sure that's the wrong link? Diskless NAS? What's that got to do with super slim laptops?
500 MB/s is ~3.9Gb/s. USB 3 is a max of 4.0 Gb/s of actual transfer (the other 1Gb/s is overhead) and most devices these days only transfer at 3.2Gb/s as per allowances in the spec for early producers.
And it's 2.5" so it wouldn't fit in ANY laptop of this class. Nice try though.
And this is why RFID/NFC need to die in a fire.
And there you have deduced where the majority of my travel takes place (though I do hit the states on occasion I just don't use t-mobile, AT&T's prepaid plans aren't great but they're better than roaming). I'm also betting on Japan having microsims available to me too, apparently at least softbank offers such.
Roger's 6GB so-called superplan is actually pretty great. Unlimited canada wide calling to 10 numbers (which honestly is going to take care of 99.9% of all your calls anyway) and same for evenings and weekends. Unlimited texting and the 6GB in the plan name. Plus it's LTE compatible (ie they'll give you a new sim for…
I dunno I can roam pretty easily these days with my 4S, I can't remember the last time I couldn't find a micro sim for the local area.
To be fair the CDMA "data OR voice: pick one" thing makes the other carriers non-contenders anyway. I can't count how many times I've pulled up a map or yelp or such while on the phone with someone. I definitely couldn't go without.
Don't get it wet! ;p
I used to have a similar system using emacs org-mode and tramp over ssh and a slave-box at my university (this was setup before I had my own server) but since I upgraded my Mac to ML I find it's just easier to dump everything into Notes and Reminders. Even though I spend most of my time in emacs, I still find it…
Me too, I had a tonne of notes in Mail and a tonne of stickies. They're all now in either Notes or Reminders and everything is nicely synced.
You can't push 1080p over usb even 3.0, that's why you see hdmi ports on android phones.
Speed, more pins = faster data. This is why the iphone/ipad can push 1080p over the 30 pin connector and android phones need hdmi ports instead of using the usb port they already have.

U MAD BRO?
Sounds like some sediment got left on the logic board or dock connector somewhere. I'd try powering it down and cleaning with high proof alcohol (dock first as it's easier).
There is only one speaker on the bottom of an iPhone just FYI, so if you are thinking the other grill at the bottom of the phone is a non-functional speaker you don't have to worry, that's where the mic is.
