While this is amazing! In my humble opinion, the hottest ever on this show was Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke. Holy Smoke!

I hope they write two equals in love and also interesting. I would argue that most television writers aren't good enough to write interesting relationships. It's much easier to write the tension of falling in love than the world of staying in love - where we all know the real work is. It takes hard work and really…
The skirts in 6 and 14 simply should not exist. The very definition of unflattering.
My mother has had MS for 40+ years. So thrilled that Ms. Rowling is doing this. Now I might need to read one of these books...I'll admit, I've used the fact I don't have children to avoid the world of Harry Potter. Now I'm inspired.
@suiterkin: The Best!!! Where did he go?
Oh my god! Those are real ads?!? I stupidly had assumed that they were, in fact, some soft corn porn converted into American Apparel ads to illustrate the point of the articles. I have never stepped foot in an American Apparel store and live in a city that probably wouldn't allow that level of lechery in their…
Judging by the number of over 40 women who appear to be on this site, I think calling us all "old" because we pick up a magazine now and then kind of insulting. I am as up to speed with electronic media as most but I avoid taking my ipad in the tub to read...but don't really care if I mess up my magazine with…
@MemilyBimble: I was told by Neiman's management several years ago that they only take their store card and Amex because neither Visa nor MasterCard would sign confidentiality agreements to refrain from selling Neiman's customer lists. Sounded plausible and made it sound like they were looking out for their…
@AmosTrue: I totally agree. I laughed in an incredulous sort of way. Not openly rude...after all it was my boss's wife. And both of them are so self-absorbed that they would not understand the "look" "comment" "laugh" in any case.
My boss's wife did this. Took back the wine brought to my house when my boss invited himself over to go swimming. They decided they would rather drink our tequila. Mind you these people have millions of dollars. I openly laughed as I handed it to her.
I would agree that misogyny runs rampant in car dealers - from checking us out when we walk in the door to assuming we don't know what we are doing. My method of dealing with all aspects of it: walk out. I've done it with three different cars I bought. If it isn't where I know it can be, I leave. In every single…
@portia_sue: I thought the same thing. When I pulled the pic up on AP it is a much wider angle and doesn't appear to be in an area that someone could have reached. The swamps/marshes in this area take special equipment to navigate. I want to give the photographer the benefit of the doubt.
My first sob of the morning. Why aren't we better custodians of this planet and it innocent inhabitants? I know, not a new question, but just thinking of the pain these animals will endure before dying breaks my heart.
I would also be at rapt attention listening to Taye Diggs!
@eclare09: Lucky you! As you know, they are wicked smart. Mine have me almost fully trained now. I try to do them proud.
That Border Collie is itching to herd the next kid that walks by. There is no "relaxing" for Border Collies. That is why I love my two. On the other hand...I'm totally jealous. Looks great!
@loosesealbluth: Thank you for pointing that out. I found that interesting too. Maybe the actual article discusses her acting...where she is modeling in a fashion magazine.
I feel very fortunate to have had these images of strong women having fun as my role models as I was starting my career etc. in the late eighties. They looked like they were having a LOT more fun that the models in the photos now. Who wants to aspire to boredom?
I think this speaks to the fact that so many people feel that they are "not seen." I am guessing that she must give some a feeling of having someone pay that attention to them, however wordlessly. Speaks volumes, truly, that it moves many to tears. Of course, what I would be mad about is that someone took my…
