It's great to see Final Fantasy VIII getting its props, these days. For years, everyone was going on and on about how shitty it was, and it always baffled me how so many people didn't seem to "get it".

There's easily 20 negative posts for every positive post on these Brony articles. They're garbage. That fandom is garbage.

Kotaku only covers Bronycon because one of its bloggers has a My Little pony fetish. This ain't general interest material. And it doesn't have a goddamn thing to do with gaming or Japan.

All the good bloggers left for better paying gigs and were replaced with shit bloggers like Fahey who post about their sexual deviancy instead of gaming.

I think irony is too complicated for people so emotionally stunted that they find inspiration from "friendship is magic".

If it weren't for the existence of other gaming sites that don't glorify this sexual deviant stuff, I'd be rethinking my choice of hobbies, right now.

If Gawker would just fire Mike Fahey and Patricia Hernandez, Kotaku's quality would instantly double because we'd no longer have to sift through their shitposts to find decent content.

Kotaku is mostly shitposting, like this article, with a few articles about gaming or Japan. That's why it's now one of the least-viewed blogs in the Gawker network and the editors have to resort to 3 MLP posts in under 12 hours to drum up some hate-clicking.
