Make it considerably cheaper than the physical alternative. Taking $1-2 off a $20-30 item when I don't even get a physical item for my money is a joke.

It's a huge business. There are at least 2 fortune 500 companies (that I know of) that do nothing but farm that kind of data and sell it. HP is even jumping into the game. Consumer prediction, targeted marketing, economic predictions, etc. the list goes on and on as to what they can do with that sort of data.
Do you use a credit card or debit card like everyone else under the age of 95?
RPi doesn't multitask very well. It pretty much just performs 1 major function. It's not a computer, despite what many of these articles lead you to believe.
Same here. I work on the 7th floor with no easy way outside.
I'm going to have to echo this post. You can get a Network Storage Adapter cheaper than you can buy a Raspberry Pi.

I keep everything off. :( I don't use live wallpaper, I use GPS only when I need it, and I don't think I've ever turned on Bluetooth. I also use Advanced Task Killer every time I pick up my phone.
Pandora runs my One X down in 2hrs. It ran down my last HTC in about 2hrs too. Using either wifi or 4g.
The cheapest i7 on the market right now starts at $299.
The idea is great, however after looking the guide "for every budget" it seems poorly executed. Since when is an i7 considered a budget component?
I just use a shared folder...... am I missing out on something? My RaspBMC does the rest of the work.

You can't sell garbage. A broken blackberry is completely worthless.
Why is @sara_buston in there?
I subscribe to HBO strictly for Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire. I couldn't care less about the rest of their programming. It's coming to the point where I only have a cable subscription for these 2 shows... which means I'm probably going to cancel my TV subscription soon.
The entire banking industry still runs on a backbone implemented in the 70's. As cool as new technology is, there are lots of highly profitable companies who still run on legacy applications. Because they are reliable and change is unfathomably expensive.
22 kids were stabbed in China today by a single 25yr old man.
I love Google, but they are shooting themselves in the foot here.
