@Damn the Fanboys: Try putting Android on your iPod. Not sure if it works on the first gen, but I've seen it done on the later gens. Might be something to look into.

I like some of the Linux based editors better than most of the windows ones (ex: Kate, Mouse Pad, and Text Edit), but for the main stream Notepad++ is probably my fav. Like it's Linux based counterparts it color codes programming code for ease of read.

@Snes: Totally agree. I just finally got to upgrade from a netbook to a full powered laptop. Can't beat a netbook for cost to portability ratio though. These overpriced tablets that keep coming out are just toys to me for people with money to waste.
