So much of The 500's tradition is being on Memorial Day Weekend, I have a hard time even thinking about the race happening any other time of the year.

I don’t know if Indycar could fit in a season before Memorial Day Weekend, Road America, Iowa. and Watkins Glen aren’t in spots that have great weather for racing till May. And I can’t imagine the out cry from the fanbase if they even mentioned moving the 50o till later in the season.
