Totally agree about people needing to go to the track, nothing helps a track like tickets, concessions, and souvenirs being bought.

Well the turn out for this race suffered from this being a rain delay of race scheduled to run in June. Kind of hard to get a great crowd when everybody has to deal with 2 and a half month change of plans.

If IMSA survived most of the old ALMS prototype teams either not moving over or quitting during the first season, I doubt having two GT Daytona teams rage quitting is going to cause a series split. The people that live there usually avoid the strip and downtown “Old” Vegas whenever possible. Not too different from living in Phoenix if you follow the plan.
