Does this one count?

I guess I’m glad I started driving in the ‘80s. Drove from Indianapolis to Orlando in 1989. Did not even bring an atlas on the trip.

I use a GPS as a convenience, not a crutch. It’s not that hard to know where you are going.

This.

If by silently you mean they put the info in the patch notes you see upon upgrading, then yeah, I guess they did it silently.

Precisely why I’m not buying anymore Nintendo hardware before finding out how they plan on addressing this. I got burnt once going from the Wii to the Wii U. There’s absolutely no way they are getting my money if they choose to repeat that process.

I thought it was Darth Maul in Freddy Kruger cosplay.

Must be a slow day at Lifehacker.

I think it is a complete fail that the parental controls are system-wide and not account based.

Nature will find a way....

Kiting is a tactic where one can engage a powerful foe, usually from range, why also actively running away from it to avoid taking damage themselves.

The first time I heard this term was when EverQuest was brand new... Druid class characters would routinely use this tactic to engage and kill monsters that were above

I had no idea that Hitman had leaderboards...

I’m really surprised the developers allow you to restart the mission in this way, then.

I pretty much agree with your assessments.

Doing something within the parameters that the developers defined (Short of using cheat codes - they are called cheat codes for a reason...) is fair game in my book.

The advance scouting in Hitman is more of a gray area for me. The developers allow you to quit the mission

I’ve read the the e-mail exchange a couple of times now...

When I read it from Tilda’s perspective, Margaret comes across as understanding and trying to explain. When I reverse the roles from Margaret’s perspective, I can see where Margaret is being understanding  with a subtle dose of derision.

That’s sort of the issue

I’m digging the inverse nature of Shotguns vs. Scout Rifles.

Does anyone know if the underlying tech that the 3DS uses is fundamentally different from the tech behind Android Pay/Apple Pay?

I wouldn’t say “nobody” because I would certainly prefer using a mouse and keyboard on my PS4.

I’d also be interested in hearing about how it performs in a game that has subtle aiming assistance, such as Destiny.

I’m proud of them.
