When I build my home theater, I'll be moving to 21:9 with a motorized curtain to cover the extra space. This has been my plan for at least three years, and I'm almost ready to build the addition on my house.

Other than the social playlist thing... What does this do that I can't do on an Apple TV? Google TV? What does this allow for that I can't do in a couple dozen ways cheaper and better?

This. Exactly this. I miss the gamecube controller. The buttons were arranged in a way that made a ton of sense.

    Not a single flaw.

You can set it to keep a specific number of recent episodes downloaded (up to 10), and from all appearances it will keep downloading them till you reach that number. After that it just keeps showing you a list of past episodes that you can redownload (and listen to while downloading).

    Speed/extra ethernet port.

Only advantage of the express is AirPlay.

The new Express does have an Ethernet port. Unless the side by side WAN and LAN ethernet ports in all of the documentation (and on the one sitting in front of me) are deceiving me.

Yes, they support AirPlay audio through the audio jack. And although TyNavarre says some D-Link routers do, that isn't true.

Well, she'd be wrong in saying that Lincoln wasn't opposed to slavery. Lincoln had a long history of public opposition to slavery. He may have only called for emancipation in light of conflict between North and South, but as early as 1837 he was vocal about the governments power to end slavery and preventing the

Apple doesn't typically raise prices on anything. In fact, they have historically always kept prices the same from one generation of product to the next, and on many occasions (including over the last two weeks) set the newer models price lower.

That isn't even close to the truth in the US. So many phones have non standard chargers. Most may be micro-USB, but nowhere near all.

I'd always prefer that the headphone jack be on the bottom of a device. When I put my phone in my pocket, I prefer to put it in with the bottom up and the screen facing my leg. Then when I pull it out, it's in my hand the way I plan to hold it. If the headphone jack is on the top of the phone, I have to put my phone

Exactly. For a lot of people the weight of a blanket and/or sheet is a source of comfort. I like to sleep cool, but I also like having a blanket over me.

When it's your big product unveiling? Yes. Yes, I expect something different.

I keep marveling over how everyone seems to be ignoring that whole part of the conference. The basic input of the device wasn't working at it's big unveiling. Then he obviously panic punches the home button repeatedly, hoping for it to exit out of the app so he can move on to the next demonstration, and finally he has

Anyone who eats Muppet for breakfast must be a monster. For shame.

I create spreadsheets on my iPad all the time. I've never needed a stylus.

This. See, I've been thinking about this over the last couple of days, and the problem is, a laptop works because it is it's own support surface (genuinely, no pun intended). In all situations that you would normally be able to use a laptop on your lap, you would still need a table to rest surface on. Doesn't work at

That really was just about the most awkward moment I've ever seen from about 13:38-14:12. You could tell it wasn't responding at all like he had expected it to, and I was uncomfortable for him. It threw off his train of thought, made Windows 8 look buggy, and broke up the whole flow of the demonstration.
