I did like the contours of the 3G and 3Gs. I'd love that shape in aluminum.

Amen! This is my biggest pet peeve. I hate bright LEDs that shine wether the device is on or off.
I'm not sure if you're just trolling or failing to understand what I'm explicitly saying. You do understand that words often have more than one meaning, right? Look can also mean to "give the impression of". Ridiculous can mean absurd. To "look ridiculous" is to give the impression of something being absurd. Clearly,…
I don't give a crap what you look like. I don't mind if you wear plaid and polkadots. You could run around grabbing your crotch and crapping your pants. How you look doesn't bother me, and aside from being clean and appropriately dressed, I don't really care how I look. It doesn't bother me if you take a picture with…
Nobody is claiming he invented touchscreens. What I see is a discussion about who was implementing them first, and in what way.
They may not have invented those things, but they did manage to make them affordable realities for the average consumer. Have you looked in to how much it cost to make a mouse before Apple decided to build one? And what were the prices on similar machines when the Macintosh launched?did anyone have an affordable…
I loved my Treo. It could do everything, but it certainly wasn't fun or intuitive. If you'd been using it for a few weeks, you could certainly understand how to do what you wanted to do, but it still was a fairly messy system that lacked the elegance of iOS, WebOS, WP7, or even Android.
I don't remember Steve ever saying they were first in any of those things you just mentioned. Is it possible that we've collectively misconstrued this?
I can go two, sometimes three days without charging my iPad. 10 hours of battery life doesn't need to be all in one day. And even then, why buy a Vita when I already have an iPad and iPhone. I don't need portable gaming on a daily basis. My work schedule, hobbies, family activities, personal responsibilities, and the…
Well, the battery life on he iPad is perfectly fine, but both devices would need to be charged (controller and iPad). You wouldn't be able to have a second Bluetooth device connected (like a headset, keyboard, etc.) I can understand why someone would want a Bluetooth controller, but it doesn't seem like it would be…
You mention the OnLive controller and Android App but not the OnLive controller and iOS app?!?
This way neither the controller or the iPad are using batteries? How many Bluetooth devices can be connected to an iOS device at once? Maybe you want a headset on while you play?
I love my iCade. I may have to look into this. How are the analog sliders?
"Battery-draining Bluetooth..."
"And instead of a battery-draining Bluetooth connection..."
When was the last time you bought a first party controller for a console. I seem to remember that being about par for the course.
Or for people who would like to play games on the go with a longer batter life and bigger screen than a portable gaming device. I have at least two train rides a year that are multiple days long. I don't much feel like lugging my console, cables, game discs, a TV, and controllers along with me. I know I'll have my…
What cracks me up most about so many arguments against Apple is how terms like this get thrown in and then repeated till people have repeated it so often that they actually think its the right word to use. Prohibitive? Maybe. Draconian? No.
Yeah... I understand that bit about telling it to give you specific location aware reminders. The only way to handle that seems to be adding locations you want to do that with to your address book.
I keep seeing people saying this, but that hasn't been my experience at all. Siri works about 90% of the time when I'm making a query. When I tell it to send a text message, set a reminder, or add something to my calendar it works 100% of the time.
