And if you notice, I didn't disagree with all of his points. I'm not an Apple zealot. There is some remarkably dated/bad software that ships on a new Mac. Of course it's easier to call someone you disagree with a zealot.

The people who default to templates in Keynote are the same people who would do so in Powerpoint, anyway. I've used the templates a couple of times (although heavily modified), but I usually start with a blank slate and build it from the ground up. If it's something important anyway. I'm not exactly sure how there it is a "hassle" "to steer away from oficially sanctioned methods". I think there is an excellent community of amateur and professional developers releasing some really great, high quality software for the Mac user community. It isn't any more difficult to install third party software

That was my thought on the Garageband thing, too. I've never had Garageband crash. I've tried to use Audacity before, and it does nothing but crash. And it looks like a complete pile.

Ah. See, I haven't used much if anything outside of SLRs for years now. They either come down to CF or SD cards. I just assumed that microSD would be a poor choice for cameras because they are so small/easy to lose. But I suppose most people don't change out their storage media as frequently as I used to before my

That's sort of how I feel... New espresso machine to back for $200, or fun toy that will sit on my desk for $125? Hmmm.

You do realize that plugging an adaptor for a full size SD card into the dock port is no harder (and takes up less space) than plugging your Transformer into the base, right? And what camera are you using that relies on microSD?
