You do know it's possible to cut across the center of a circle right?

Except the original Android phones in 2006 looked more like Blackberry clones in hardware and software, until the iPhone launched, then Google redid the entire concept to make it more like the iPhone. http://www.theverge.com/2012/4/25/2974676/this-was-the-original-google-phone-presented-in-2006

@bzgunner: The spirit behind what you're saying is true, but there's also a fundamental misunderstanding of the way cell bandwidth works.

@AreWeThereYeti: Ahh I've got you, yea 1080p ones are more prevalent, likely because of TV panel production and marketing reasons (everyone knows what 1080p is).

@AreWeThereYeti: What are you talking about, there's 1920x1200 screens everywhere...

@Lupus_Yonderboy: Since PDANet is free and you have no cap, what's it matter what they officially allow?

@Limbero: Correct. Both 802.16m (aka Wimax2) and LTE-Advanced meet the proposed requirements for 4G, but neither 802.16e or LTE being deployed by Verizon do...but 802.16e/m will be backwards/forwards compatible with each other similar to 802.11b/g Wi-Fi.

@jeepfreak: Because if you don't watch 95% of the crap the cable company gives you it's a far better deal to get internet for $35/month and this for another $10. Plus if you have a busy season at work/with family, you can always not do Hulu for a month and just watch it on your laptop or PC further reducing your costs.

This has been a really big year for them so congrats guys.

@Alfisted: This isn't yet to be seen, anyone has been able to do this with virtually any phone, especially GSM ones, for like 10+ years. N900 anyone?
