Fonts are the main reason I never switched to Linux, it's a damn nightmare to even make the look tolerable. Yeah and of course there's the software. The best programs on Linux generally are on par with the worst Windows freeware.

If you build a Nosquint extension for Chrome, I'll switch from FF immediately.

    That is so true!

Not FTP and HFS (HTTP File Server) but granted, they are not file sharing sites.

Like almost all other sites it lacks the possibility to transfer folders. Of course you could zip'em but still...

Stopped using Download.com a long time ago, no reason when there's so many excellent sites around, Fileforum.com, Softpedia.com, Snapfiles.com, Freewarefiles.com and the list goes on...

Never understood the fuzz about Revo, I've been using Total Uninstall for several years without a glitch. Tried the free version of Revo on a regular basis but Total Uninstall's snapshot method is far superior in catching the leftovers and it's cheaper than the pro version of Revo.

I'm running Windows 7 on my five year old Fujitsu laptop without problems albeit without aero. Smooth as silk on 2 gb ram.

Greasemonkey script "Search filter for Google to the rescue". Ideal for blocking spam results.

Still no mouse gesture for "got to top" and "got to bottom" of page?

No way to exclude certain files or subfolders from the synch is a deal breaker for me.
