Multiplayer games do, especially not so well known titles. Those games are dead within weeks if not months and if you're late to the party for a big release like CoD or now Titanfall, you're stuck leveling while everyone else is kitted out dropping on you. Granted, TF has a bit more balance than most vertical…
I'm sorry but you why complain about first-day video game prices? You're not forced to buy all games day 1. If you buy all your games delayed by a couple of months you easily spend less than half.
That clicking...just as terrifying.
You know you were all thinking it.
aRPG players wouldn't get it, don't worry.
Top-down RPGs were never about Diablo, and I don't know why you think they were.
Might I suggest filling these lists with just exclusives, and putting multi-platform games into a larger list of their own?
I am flat out stunned none of the Uncharted games made it on this list. Last of Us is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but it didn't break ground the same way Uncharted did.
Probably because you can find out almost anything about anyone on the internet nowadays. It's as easy as looking up a username, and tracing it back to an email, and tracing the email to other accounts one of which would probably have a name. From there addresses are so easy to find.
Lions-Eagles should be interesting this weekend, they are basically the same team on this chart...
What about Valkyria Chronicles and Lost Odyssey. Valkyria for its unique and rewarding take on the genre, and Lost Odyssey because it's Lost Odyssey.
Thank you! Too many excellent, must plays were missing from the list. You have, more or less, fixed that.
He had Persona 4, so we'll let that ride. Dot.Hack was really cool, but I don't see traditional JRPG when i look at it for some reason.
Atelier, Ar Tonelico, Tales, Legend of Dragoon and Chrono Cross are some of my favorites. While I do agree with the list you made I'd add Dot Hack and pretty much anything in the Shin Megami Tensei series.
Chrono Cross is one of my deep loves, but a lot of people hate it for some silly reason.
I would add in Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2 and Vagrant Story myself. Some of the most fun the JRPG sub-genre has provided me.
