This. People love to bag on Nebraska, and don’t get me wrong it deserves it plenty, but Iowa is a worse drive IMHO. I’ve driven across the country eleven times using 40, 70, 80 and 90 (different trips) and Iowa is the worst.

Ohio sucks because most of the “through” parts of the state - north/south, east/west - pass through either flat farmland or endless suburban sprawl.
But if you’re taking Route 35 or 33 diagonally across the state - say you’re driving from Michigan/Chicagoland to the Carolinas - you pass through the heavily forested,…
You’re driving through the wrong part of Ohio. I live in the 40% of the state that is basically West Virginia Lite, it’s nothing but winding roads, hills, and trees.
Counterpoint: Driving through the mountains for hours just to get to the beach is just as tiring. Or the 7+ hour drive home in the middle of the night…
I’ve never driven through Nebraska, but I have driven to Nebraska. I-80 across Iowa is mind numbing enough. The occasional stench of pig farms is the only thing keeping you awake.
Looking forward to the shocking story about Ferrari’s SUV also becoming its best-selling vehicle.
Amen, at least as shown in the video, the oblivious moron biker never even looked to his right as he blithely sailed through the intersection without a care in the world, and it was a one-way street with traffic coming from only that direction. It’s a wonder this guy has evaded the forces of natural selection this…
But the collision was 100% his fault. Whether she stopped or not did not change his extent of injury, considering passerbys were able to render assistance.
You and 7 other people.
For mpg, driver’s assist systems, hybrid and electric systems reasons going forward, you are likely not going to see any more manuals, especially in this type of application.
You are stuck thinking in the past when a 4 cylinder motor made no power and was saved for economy cars. Modern 4 cylinders with turbos exceed the power of yesteryears V8s. My old 4.6 Ford made like 210hp and 280 ftlb of torque.
Keep it retro but with a twist. You see in 05 they went back to 65 cause reasons. Now in 22 (17 years later...holy fuck I might be getting old) if you keep with a look back in time 40 years for inspiration theme you get 82. That means a retro of the Fox body.
People who haven’t been around helicopters much.
True, but Chevrolet couldn’t sell it when it was new, so it’s kind of a weird car.
What ever happened to personal responsibility? The kid had a history of driving like a jack ass. That’s not Tesla’s fault. The kid would have drove that way regardless of what kind of car he was in. Same with firearm manufacturers, why sue them, because you don’t like guns? Why not file a suit against the alcohol…
You are right to question the rationale. This is a scenario that only exists with this hypothetical “use it or lose it” $300k budget.
2018-ish, as gently used as possible, Rolls Royce Wraith for me:
...where are these $250k waterfront properties?
I went the other way, and put a canoe on two motor scooters.
You assume it’s Bezos who actually was instrumental is this becoming an issue?
Even if you don’t feed them they still won’t be the thinnest though.
