If you’re old enough/judged responsible enough to drive a vehicle on public roads, you’re old enough/responsible enough to face adult charges for vehicular crimes.

Agreed about the Mustang.
That was my first thought. The Musty II to the Fox was an order of magnitude improvement in quality and performance.
Vents in general? I think all cars have them, they are just hidden today.
Back then most cars came with just a driver’s side mirror. Passenger side was optional.
I don’t get the contemporary hate for the SC. Sure, it was terrible value new, but now, they’re a cheap, V8, RWD convertible Toyota. That sounds better than a Solara to me.
The F-150 Raptor uses a 3.5, not a 3.0. In the words of my mgr, “plz fix, thx”
I’m sure its been worked on for months (years) and started long before launch issues and chip shortage. They can’t just halt their schedules.
Likely the same reason towing capacity is magically higher in Europe for the same vehicle. Regulations. I think towing in Europe is a more regulated affair (imagine that), with slower speeds. In the US, if it is rated to tow, you need to be able to go fast. The (safe) towing capacity decreases with speed.
how do you Americans build trucks this big with such small payloads... behemoths like the F150 are rated to carry less! WHY????
Those are some nice facts. But I’m worried they’ll get in the way of us getting more Tundra articles. We only have 5 today. If we can’t post frivolous comparisons that are incorrect, how will we shit on the Tundra?
why not have both? Do I really want to carry a generator everytime I go camping or to the jobsite?
That is a genuinely useful feature for RV owners. Not having to lug a 50-100 lb generator and another 20 lbs of chain to lock it down is a lot of space back. And, those small engines have notable fumes, even the newer EPA and CARB certified ones.
A small generator is ~2000 watts. The ford can do 7200. My 6800 watt standalone generator is a few hundred pounds, not at all possible to lift into a truck bed or convenient to move around. Can barely wheel the damn thing up to the house when we have power outages.
I was thinking more in terms of having that ability for back-up power after a storm. If I buy a generator for that purpose it might get used once or twice a year and you’re rolling the dice on having gas that isn’t bad and occasionally starting it to make sure it runs when you need it. If I can use my truck that I…
The issue with gravel traps is that they don’t really slow cars down all that much, especially the lightweight, flat bottomed ones just skip across. Gasly’s crash in Monza today was yet another example; an asphalt runoff would’ve allowed him to effectively hit the brakes, remain some semblance of grip and avoid the…
I still don’t know how this isn’t universally interpreted as an infringement on the 4th amendment. It’s exactly what it was written for, to protect against this kind of thing.

Said it before, say it again: Ford hit this one out of the ballpark when it came to styling the Bronco. Goddamn that’s a great looking truck—it’s got the proper amount of original Bronco DNA updated for the 21st century—just too good.
Would you say you don’t like their fit and Finnish?
