I always felt like Nissan made a BIG mistake with the NV by not offering it with 4wd. It is based on the Titan with the same front clip. If it had a 4WD option for a similar price point that the Titan saw between 2WD and 4WD, it would have sold enough to justify without a doubt in my mind. Maybe it wouldn’t have moved

That’s hard to say because a 4WD van was pretty much never offered. The new stuff (Sprinter and Transit) pretty much have to be ordered, dealers do not stock them. I ordered my AWD Transit Feb 6th 2021 (just before the chip shortage became public knowledge). It finally came in Oct 6th, a full 8 months to the day after

No shit! Just give us the turbo V-6 from the Bronco! It should drop right in, the Bronco is developed off the Ranger after all.

Traditional truck guy here (learned to drive in a Jeep Comanche back in the early 90's and (multiple) F-150 owner since 1998). I’m going through a fleet reconfiguration in my house and I would really, really, really like to ditch my F-150 for the Maverick Hybrid. Too bad it’s an order only vehicle and 2022 allotments

Not gonna lie, if I had the cash, I’d love a GLS580 (give me the softer ride over the GLS63).

I race dirtbikes and know some factory guys in the off-road world (GNCC and NEPG).  When you ask them what the best oil is, they’ll tell you that new oil is the best oil.  As long as you have the correct API specs, it doesn’t really matter which oil you go with, just don’t try to stretch your oil change intervals.  In

I looked into building a 996 C4 Safari. The issue is no one is making appropriate suspension pieces for the modern 911s. You either Safari on air cooled pre-993 or be prepared to hand over a blank check to a custom fab shop. There was a sweet 996 Safari on BaT last year that went for over $100K, but I can’t remember

I still have my 1981 Redline MX-II ;) It’s a little rough around the edges and needs a new set of cranks, but considering the abuse I put it through until I was big enough to get a Ross 26" mountain bike in junior high, it’s in pretty good shape. That Ross on the other hand didn’t age well at all. I broke that frame,

That was my first thought too. I just wonder where you can dock it and what the monthly slip fee would be? Could be a pretty affordable way for someone to get 30,000+ square feet of living space close to NYC.

I bid on 2 cars in the summer of 2020 and have sat out since.  I just didn’t see the market doing what it’s done the last 2 years. The one I regret was the 2008 Viper in Venom Green. It sold for $64K, I went to $60K and bowed out. I still wonder what the other 2 bidders max price was. Would $65K or $66K have got it or

I have a Sherco 300SEF dirtbike.  Keep it above 10K and it’s quick in single track, but if you try to ride a gear high, it’s slowwww.  You really have to work the gearbox and abuse that little engine.

Over the very long term, houses appreciate similar to inflation, the catch is that over the short term, they do not.  The last 15 years is a great example.  A big jump from 02-07, then the crash from 08-10, stagnation for a few years then big gains the last 5 or 6 years.  You may get lucky, or you may get burned over

My wife says no streetbikes, but is OK with dirtbikes (currently have 3).  Do you think I can convince her this is a dirtbike?  LOL

I’m intrigued by Krown to say the least. 3rd generation rust belter here (Cleveland mostly, now Columbus) and I know my dad did not like Ziebart at all. Always said that it plugged up all the OEM drain holes and after a while, you’d hear water sloshing in your door when you closed it. I just bought a new vehicle that

Aston’s do OK on the depreciation curve, but certainly not as good as a Porsche. And with the current market, everything is up. I was looking at P cars and other “near exotics” pre COVID and a Vantage S like this was a $50K car at the minimum. That was when an MT 996TT was 40-60 depending on mileage, X-50 package or

Honestly, you’re an outlier among typical Duc owners considering the amount of miles you put on a bike. I’m sure the average Duc rider doesn’t put even 5k a year on theirs. To your second point, yeah, the HP wars are crazy considering what is now considered a mid range bike (the V2). Those are top of the line numbers

That’s the issue. The new Integra with the turbo motor will have a lot more torque, making it easier to DD with the MT and will be quicker on 0-60 and 1/4 mile dashes even with a decent amount of weight gain.

And here I am with my funniest story which is way tame compared to most. As a kid, my family hit the local short track once or twice a month (Sandusky Speedway FYI) and one of the regulars was a really hairy man who was always shirtless as long as the temps were 70* or higher. His significant other would spend most of

2nd Gear; Let’s not forgot inflation and all that “free money” that’s been flowing from DC. The US dollar is losing value. The oil markets are based on USD, but when every other currency is rising against the dollar, a global commodity like oil will cost more USDs per unit (gallon/barrel).

When they first dropped the AT with DCT, I was of the same opinion, but after reading lots of reviews, including by serious off-roaders like Jimmy Lewis, it isn’t as bad as us traditional dirtbikers think. Now, a skilled off-roader like myself (10+ years in the A class in enduros) will still prefer a clutch, the DCT
