Just read it, and I couldn't help but to think of my mother. She hates it, and I mean HATES IT when I do something that she thinks she should be doing for me. I always feel very bad about it...

Do we consider housekeeping to be work? People don't gain money by it, but I would argue that it can be as mentally and physically taxing as a regular 8 hours a day job. It also helps society and the economy to move forward, but probably not on a more tangible way.

Nah... it stems from a different "problem" we have, and I say "problem" because I don't care about it and don't consider it to be one.

Wow... no idea things were that bad. I mean, I always saw how white people never liked mixed couples in movies about the 60s and stuff like that, I didn't know there were actually laws about it.

It's still probably fun to see all the racist people getting an eye twitch everytime they see a black president in the TV.

My dad is actually dark-skinned and my mom is pretty white. She reffers to him as "mi negro" which translate to "my black man". Sadly the loving way in which she says that can't be translated, so it sounds pretty racist :/

Well, our last president wasn't "white".

Wasn't saying anything about why black people are poor, I was saying why poor people are poor. Not that it's always the same reasons I pointed out, but fixing that could help a huge chunk of that part of the population.

Wow, that's a terrible story. I don't think I could live like that, and not because of me (I wouldn't give a damn about what others thought of my relationship), but because of my girlfriend, she is of indian descent and has a dark skin color (not really black, but definitely not white either).
