Yeah my guess is about 80% of the fans saw nothing wrong with it as they love saying the word too.

That just means Jaguar didn’t announce it until it was almost ready to ship.  Cadillac announced these at the concept stage.  I doubt it took Jaguar much less time to develop it, other than the time save of basing it on an ICE model.
