Yes, I don’t have trouble when I install the filter. The problem one was the factory mounted filter on a ‘98 Contour. Evryone online at the time said the factory puts them on really tight. I didn’t believe them until it came time for the first oil change. I think they mounted it in the factory with an impact.

Agreed, I’m just pointing out that their is a lot of shrieking about “lack of infrastructure!!!!” when in reality 99% of the infrastructure exists, we just need that last little bit - plugs.
