I think China probably has the best info, but I seems it isn’t as good as they would like. When NK detonated their weapon a few months ago, supposedly it was a total surprise to China, not just to the West. I imagine SK has a lot of human assets on the ground as well.

It is an interesting question. If and when these become commonplace, who is going to be financially responsible when there are accidents? Is Google because they program it and say it is safe? Is the owner responsible because they own it? I can’t imagine that Google (or other manufacturer) is going to be willing to

It seems like it makes a good case for getting a Lincoln MKX instead. The base MKX interior looks higher quality and you can opt for the twin turbo V6 which has satisfying power all at an equal or lower price point.

It’s not even about the EPA or the environment. It is about fraud - a criminal act. If they cheated on their taxes or faked their annual reports to swindle investors they should get similar treatment.

My understanding is that for someone to actually be charged with a felony for mishandling classified information, it has to be shown that there was some intent to do something nefarious with it. Carelessness is not going to get a felony charge.

Interesting. I hadn’t really thought of that but at some of the left leaning sites I frequent I have been thinking to myself that they have become “Brietbart Left.”

Oh, come on. Cruz has foreign policy ideas - carpet bomb them! Trump - Bring back torture and kill their families. What more could you ask for.

I'd buy it just so I could take it to CarMax and make them quote me an offer for it.

GOP savior candidate?

I was actually thinking the opposite. I'm really hoping they let you turn off all the nannies. It would be pretty hysterical. Rolling burnouts everywhere.

A couple of years ago it was reported that AM renewed their engine contract with Ford through 2018.

I’m getting a front end loader vibe from this more than tractor. They are already articulated and rear engine. Replace the front wheels with the fork, instant trike - ok, maybe not really instantly.

Maybe it is just me, but all these super cars look the same. Every other post today seems like another cookie cutter super car. Meh. And get off my lawn!

Came here for this.

Raph, have you ever driven, or even just been around, a Class 11 racer? I would think an article on one would be right in your wheelhouse and be an interesting topic. The Mint 400 is coming up soon in Vegas. It would be an easy trip and I hear the promoters are more than willing to help out press guys.

I've always thought these were great looking cars. To my eye at least, they have aged well. If Ford would have turned the wick up on them, nobody would remember the GN. Other than the HP/tq, these are worlds better cars than the GN.

Hell, you can probably find more rust on a brand new Sprinter still parked at a Mercedes dealer.

I’m pretty confident we will get a small Ford CUV, but it won’t be this current version. As noted, the current model was designed for third world markets and, as such, sell poorly in modern Western markets. Expect a modern version when it does arrive.

In case anyone is wondering, yes, you can make sparks with studded tires if you do a burnout on pavement. Not a lot, but there are some of the studs hit the right kind of stone in the aggregate. Not great for the tires or the pavement though. I made this video to see if there were sparks.
