Nice Merc!

Exner did a number of these revival cars in the 60's. Some were made into real cars, most made it to the scale model stage. I remember I had a 1:25 scale slot car version of that Mercer-Cobra.

The rest of the auto industry had better be putting every goddamn thing they have into beating Tesla.

What does it benefit a dealer to send an itemized quote via email?

I love the idea that slapping their badges on instantly raises the quality of the vehicle.

In plain English: our logo will make your vehicle seem more expensive than it really is. Brenthon is in the logo business, not the car business.

The above resembles English, but clearly is not. That final sentence is my favorite, in combining opacity and vacuity.

This fight gives me hope for America. I clicked ‘play’ expecting the ND fans to be outnumbered and get thrown to the ground, at which point various dudes with no respect for decorum would come attempt to stomp the prone fans’ skulls to the point of a traumatic brain injury. Alas, only punches were thrown, most guys

If I had an extra million dollars laying around, I would spend it on the new Fat Bob. It looks great and harleys are very comfortable. If I had an extra 18K laying around, it wouldnt go to harley.

When I got my CX-5, I drove about an hour away to our nearest city and visited the biggest Mazda dealership there. They had a no haggle policy. They told me the price was an average of what the other Mazda dealerships in the area were getting for that model. I told them first, you should use median, not average, and

The crippled battery was a tradeoff between higher cost of goods and the substantial operational expense of creating a separate 60 battery pack for the buyers that opted for a 60 or 60D.

Is it worth it over a normal SRT or even the 5.7? I know the SRT Durango review was basically “just get the R/T” I have a feeling this will be similar

From the Porsche configurator:

Hmm, I was only in a sedan. The B-pillar being farther back would do wonders for how the space feels. I hate hitting my shoulder or arm on it. might make the coupe feel roomier in the front? Are coupes generally roomier in the front than their sedan counterparts? I’m not sure...

Much like Maserati, Cadillac has not yet figured out that you can make a car with sharp looks, a world class suspension and a great sounding engine (debatable in Cadillac’s case) but if you cut corners in the interior your customers will notice.

“Even the Chevy SS, in all of its rear-drive, V8 glory, couldn’t ever sell well.”

Pretty much this right here. Cars keep getting larger, sometimes significantly so, than past models. After a while they really just overlap too much with one another, and the winner will usually be the car with the better value.

The absolute cheapest bare bones 2 door wrangler is 24k out the door, 25.5k for the automatic. I would love to buy one for the wife as she really wants one, but for a lot less I can get her in a lot more comfortable a car. I would look at used, but they’re even worse for pricing. If I could nab a jeep for say 19k,

The Jeep Wrangler is not a good car. it is a good off road vehicle (once you replace all the bits FCA put on there to make it less horrible as a car), but anybody who buys one intending to use it as an every day vehicle either lives 40 miles up a goat trail or has a serious self esteem issue that they are trying to
