Why are there so many professional athletes who’ve turned out to be complete pieces of shit?

Lets be frank Sony is playing hardball because they can. They wont come out and say it but its pretty obvious what they’re doing - you want to play Fortnight with your friends well you better have a Playstation too. Nintendo and Microsoft are playing nice for the obvious reasons they just don’t have the numbers to

Nonbinary is just a fashion statement, at this point. All the cool kids are denouncing their biological gender! I wanna be cool, too! Obviously, I’m not talking about people that are inter-sexed or hermaphrodites, as that’s a physicality that some people are born with.  I totally understand that.  But, all this mental

So people here might be wondering how this was actually done.

And what do they all have in common? They have better internet than I do.

For the first time since Call of duty 2, I have a reason to play COD.

I’d recommend Project 1999 (an inofficial but legal EverQuest server running an old version of the game that is the closest you’ll get to the original experience), Old-School Runescape, or Ultima Online. Also EVE is an option, but because it is so different from everything else, it won’t tell you that much about how

EverQuest, FFXI, and Ultima Online are all still available for play. Ultima Online is kind of unique, though; most MMOs before WoW were like EverQuest (including FFXI), and that aesthetic (heavy grinding for leveling over quest-based gameplay) tends to survive in most Eastern MMOs, like Black Desert Online. The

Ultima Online. It was the first MMORPG I played, and still remember the joy of growing your own herbs so you could cast spells... creating your own merchant and selling things... running back to the guards after I pull the lich from the graveyard. Really good memories and the community was awesome. Ahh Britannia, I

If you really want to you can play EverQuest on Project 99, which unlike most private old school servers has an official arrangement with the right’s holder. It’s a very faithful recreation of the actual 1999 experience. FF11 is also still around, although it’s very different than it once was.

Final Fantasy XV is a really, really bad hill to try to draw the “casual vs. longtime fan” divide on.

I’ve been playing Final Fantasy titles since the first one dropped in the West in 1990, and I would rank XV pretty damn low on the franchise ladder. I’ve expressed why at exhaustive length in other threads, so I won’t

So, the game you’ve been waiting years for was about to come out and Jason Schreier has just written an article about it...

I no longer imagine playing or what the story will be in a game till I play it. I always go way to far into the hype hole and the game suffers cause of it. Final Fantasy XV is a perfect example for me, Metal Gear 5 as well. I imagined so many strong story moments and there was no way either of them could ever achieve

It’s gross, but but I’d rather rely on the strict US pornography laws that cover even fictional representations, rather than ever ban anything because of moral outrage. I’m perfectly happy to not buy things I find morally objectionable, instead of trying to shove my my values down the throat of society. I’m a lot more

Obviously I have to preface this by saying the content in question here isn’t my cup of tea. But when it comes to peoples’ kinks, my philosophy is “live and let live” as long as real people aren’t being hurt and I don’t have to be subjected to it.

Banned is a pretty reasonable description, given they’ve sufficiently blocked market access for the publisher that they are no longer releasing the title in that region.

I feel I have to write this on every “tiny apartment in Japan” post that I read, for people who don’t live there: your country most likely have similar real estate in packed metropolis, with similar prices if not even higher.... if it sounds weird to you, it’s probably just because you’ve never seen them. :P

Can someone enlighten me and tell me what’s special about these ties? Is it any different than any other celebrity-endorsed tie line?

People either don’t remember the DS3 very well or never played it, because the microtransactions in DS3 were not a focus at all. There were tons of supplies and equipment in the game, so you never needed to buy it and even if you wanted to buy them you actively had to seek it out in the menus. It never actually got in
