YOU GUYZZZZ!!!!!! I literally just submitted my M.A. thesis to the board of examiners. It's all over - a year of prep, 3 months of field research, 2 months of writing, and half a week of editing, crying, and drinking various liquors out of bottles.

I know that, as a childfree person, I can't seem to escape the mommy wars here on Jezebel.
I haven't actively thought this since I was a twelve-year-old girl with ambitions to be Kate Bosworth in Blue Crush, but hot damn dolphins are really beautiful creatures.
Word. It's easy to become overwhelmed, but if you remember your audience, band what they came there for, as well as take advantage of all the cool tech tools available (mail chimp will automatically post your newsletters to social media- that's cool), the trick is to schedule right and monitor. Have a plan for bad…
Just saw this today - as far as what to post - check your insights on facebook in the admin panel. You'll see which posts get more views and more interactions. I know that for my current job, photos are huge. I work for a university and people like to see current students having fun and they like to see campus…
Eat the burger and the chocolate pudding! You can make chocolate pudding for yourself pretty easily and then portion it out. Have a small amount after dinner every night. If you deprive yourself of it, then you'll just binge on it when you can get it. If you know you get to have a little treat every day, it'll be…
Social media is sort of what I'm doing full time now.
I've made some of her recipes. The foreign ones are not very authentic, but are very delicious.
On food: Invest some time in building up a thorough spice cabinet so you don't have to run to the store all the time.
Yes, I totally see your problem! Even here in CA our standard supermarkets are pretty underwhelming. If you have the time, maybe get a part time job at WF. That way you get a 25% discount. I seriously did this with trader joe's but we only got a 10% discount there. Our family spends about a grand a month on groceries…
For me, cooking is the most fun (and least expensive) if you choose a certain type of cuisine and get good at it. Traditional cuisines are usually pretty healthy, and once you have stocked all the basic seasoning ingredients you only need to buy a few things from the store, which makes it a lot cheaper.

You don't always have to buy an entire pack/bottle of a spice. We've a local grocery store, Good Foods Co-Op, that sells spices in bulk, so you buy as little or as much as you want at a time. If I'm making chicken tiki masala, I swing by there to pick up the ingredients that I don't use any other time. Last time I…
Try this woman's recipes. They are simple, delicious, low cost, and involve no weird ingredients.
just bought these from nordstrom rack!!! i keep putting them on and admiring but haven't actually worn them yet lol
First of all. stop doing the majority of your shopping at Whole Paycheck. Seriously. trader joes and grocery outlet (if you have those around) have really good quality food for much much less than WF. Don't get me wrong, you can still get some things there, but comparison shop! Also get comfy with things like beans &…
This one is for Question #2, re: cooking.
1. Buy lots of cheap spices and learn how to combine them to make different flavors. Sometimes you can buy a spice rack that comes pre-filled for not a whole lot of money. That way, even if you´re having the same old baked chicken, it can be garlic chicken, Italian chicken,…
1. I actually am a brand anthropologist/qualitative market researcher/digital brand strategist, so social media is my entire job outside of modeling. I think having a strong Facebook presence, then a Twitter and an Instagram if applicable, are the best platforms for companies, though research does suggest that…
Hootsuite's a great, free app for scheduling your posts across media. You can manage a ton of accounts in one screen.
I follow the Huntington Library Tumblr, and it's pretty great, if you are looking to check out a model.
