Hmm. I was reading the IMDB page for this film (something I usually stay away from) and many of the comments were along the lines that in the novel, the character played by Scarlett Johansson appeared to have very off-putting facial features to the point that she was "enhanced" in other areas to distract the men she'd

Fuck. Those. Assholes.

Retail snobbery is something I'll never understand. Like, how can these people who are usually working for barely $10 an hour feel that their above ones that come into their stores to shop. The highest end place I ever worked was Bloomingdale's in the coats department (just stock tho) and I'd never, ever think to do

I'm stealing the fuck outta this phrase! Your mom is all sorts of awesome.

I was hoping he'd turn full werewolf and not hybrid man/wolf. :/ Maybe it'll happen later?

Watching Teen Wolf for the first time. Am I gonna hate myself for this? So far so good, I seriously thought it would be something like that movie with Michael J. Fox (cheesy and all).

No Problem. I mean it was good and watching that and seeing Solange rock a buzz cut, then start to grow her hair out naturally were deciding factors for my transition into natural hair, but I didn't feel comfortable recommending to someone unfamiliar with black women and their relationship with their hair.

Aw. Thank you. Seriously, all awesome sauce teachers do the Lord's work!

Here's a documentary done through the eyes of a black woman (I haven't personally seen it though). I hear it's a lot more thoughtful than Good Hair.

Yes! That was one of the most heartbreaking documentaries I've ever seen. When she asked one of the little girls which doll looks like her then which one was "bad" and the little black girl at first hesitated then moved the black doll forward, I cried.

Eh. I wouldn't recommend Good Hair. A lot of black women had problems with it, as it came off as condescending and trying to police what black women do with their bodies and it was done through the lens of a black man (nothing against Chris Rock, love him) and not a black woman. I can't think of a better documentary

Bump!

I like Jillian, but when it comes to stretching before and after a workout on one of her dvds, she wraps it up too quickly. I was read some review for her kettlebell workout and apparently it's terrible when it comes to form. I'd love to do a one on one with a trainer in the future but I iz broke now.

That Iron Core workout looks amazing! I've been wanting to do kettlebell for a while now, especially now that I'm stuck in this apartment here. Back home I could do Jillian Michaels-type workouts with the jumping jacks and all, but apartment living and all.

I don't know if it's getting worse, but my face has been sucking lately. So dull and my pores around my nose have been getting larger (haven't used coconut oil during this time).

I have no idea.

Have you tried Divine Chocolate? So yummy! The milk chocolate is like heaven in your mouth. You give me hope, I have all these back problems and losing weight (even 20lbs) would be so good to my body. I try to think that no one cares about me, but the few times I have been in the gym, someone always has to talk to me!

What's a good vodka that doesn't taste like Satan's piss? I hear Crystal Head vodka is really good.

Booze/wine recommendations for people who are new to drinking things that aren't overly sugary cocktail drinks? I love Rose Regale, but I'd love to find something I could drink with a meal. I guess I'm still not over the thought process of drinking something with food that's not juice.

That's awesome! I'm really new to Pinterest, so I haven't used it as much as I thought I would. That always wasn't Janelle Monae's style. Very early on in her career she had a more sexy carefree look, but I'm happy she found a style that works for her and expands on many of themes in her music. She always kills it and
