That all being said, it really comes down to money. You can save 10-33% on every single game that comes out, ever, by jumping on a preorder deal at the right time. That adds up to a lot of savings to put toward more games over time.

Tenpenny Tower (Fallout 3) - the epitome of "if you can see it, you can go to it" for me.
One of the cool things about Xbox One's game store pages is that you can watch live streams of people playing the game to see what it's like. There's no need for a trailer at all (unless MS requires it for promotional purposes or something).
It seems like it could be competition for their PS Now program (and possibly a better value, considering the crazy prices in PS Now (unless those have changed since beta)).
Agreed. I think it's pretty obvious it wasn't their intention to invoke memories of 9/11. They just didn't think it all the way through. And really... I probably wouldn't have made the connection myself if someone hadn't pointed it out, so to quote Tupac; "I ain't mad atcha."
Well shit. Guess I was wrong. Being wrong on the internet sucks. Apologies.
I think Kotaku editors are the only people who hung onto the Dude Huge thing. Please give Cliff a break already.
I never got the impression that he was arrogant. He's always come off as a regular dude to me. I think it's the internet that made him out to be something bigger. Particularly Kotaku, always giving him different nicknames like Dude Huge and stuff like that.

At least we know Bungie is hearing the complaints about the voice acting. Hopefully that means they'll do something about it.
As a parent, I appreciate simple transformations. Otherwise my kids are asking me to help transform them every 2 minutes.
One of the coolest, but simple, outcomes from Twitch on Xbox One is that when you go to a game's store page, they have a live stream linked right there, so you can actually see what the game looks like when it's played. In the previous generation, all you got was like 5 screenshots. It's a little feature, but very…
It's also funny coming from Ubisoft that will make 18 different preorder bonuses for different retailers.
Actually, the first thing I said when we got a slight close-up of the character, and you could tell it wasn't traditional green Link was "it's Zelda." However, the face looks more like Link. That would be a pretty kickass way to turn the legend around, though.
"Intense" is not the word I would use to describe that show. Those mild-mannered developers and the robotic translators were putting me to sleep. The only thing intense about the show was that ridiculous Michael Bay directed Zelda teaser. I know I'll get a lot of hate for that. Sorry!
I used to like to make Sonic stand still until he turned and looked at the camera, and tapped his foot with impatience. I thought that was the coolest little touch.
Mine was Orion Shepard.
Even scratchless disks will eventually die. So while treating your disks appropriately will help them last longer, they are all doomed to die at some point. I hope that publishers will offer digital copies of disk-based games at some point so they can be preserved.
The motion sickness comes from the fact that the motion you are seeing with your eyes is not being registered by the rest of your body. So your brain gets mixed signals, and you get sick. In this instance, the physical effects that his body is feeling matches what he is seeing, since the virtual roller coaster is…
"...when someone—anyone—comes along promising to bring back the supremely gory glory of nineties-era arcade classics like Mortal Kombat into the modern era, genre-inclined gamers will listen."
