And yet, it doesn’t matter and the contest has no bearing on anything. So let’s have fun and do something different this year, no?
From what I understand Famitsu is quite often guilty of collusion. Japanese and Western gaming press is quite different.
Yeah, Pewdiepie has made menstruation and rape jokes but I watched a handful of Markiplier and although I found him very grating, I can’t recall him cursing or making any off-color comments. He seemed like a fairly safe children’s entertainer to me. Let’s not tar everybody with the same brush, no matter how annoying…
Not at all, he’s one of the most divisive figures of youtube stardom. I can’t stand him, but I’m also about 20 years too old to be his target demographic. I’m sure my parents thought the stuff I loved as a preteen was insipid drivel too.
No love for Dragon Quest Heroes in October? It hit Steam on Friday but it was certainly an exclusive when it dropped.
You must be popular with the ladies.
why can’t they just make a new game :(
It’s a little known fact that the Super Mario Land theme had lyrics too. Very `90s, very British lyrics.
The Vita’s a wonderful device. It gets the most play out of all my consoles. Too bad that Sony failed it.
Ha ha, Huniepot don’t have a million dollars!
I always though that Mother 3’s status as “Marxism RPG” would ground it to Japan. Kind of a miracle that Nintendo ever put it out in the first place
I heard Nintendo staff were all really surprised and impressed with Itoi turning up every day and truly overseeing production, whereas previous celebrity talents just didn’t care.
Grandmother: Episode 1
I had no idea. Thanks so much for this anecdote!
Fine. Earthbound and Mother 3 are incredible games by a wonderfully talented writer. He’s accomplished everything he’s wanted to in the series and we should all appreciate that.
Why would she form that? Practical joke?
Thanks for clearing that up. I mentioned above, there was a Japanese horror game called Laplace no Ma (Laplace’s Demon), but it had nothing to do with the thought experiment and was instead about fighting demons. I’ll have to give this show a look, warts and all.
