He’s still under contract until the end of the year. Think of Kojima’s situation as the ending of Barton Fink.

From what I understand, there are no royalties within the Japanese games industry. There are not many (if any) unions, either. Kojima’s been paid already—hopefully handsomely—and he probably won’t be seeing any dividends on this. That’s not unique to Konami, either; I doubt Sakaguchi ever saw any FF dividends either.
Meet my pets! My pony, my doggie, my robot, my mute woman in underwear!
Musashi was real, Holmes is a fictional character. Not that that should really matter. You should have a sense of humor about these kinds of things.
The dreaded drop lick is effective and erotic
Never forget. Linus knows how embarrassing this is.
What is it about commenters with anime avatars?
Don’t listen to them Patricia, you’re doing great. The detractors in this post just want to put somebody down.

It sounds like nobody got hurt or maimed so I daresay things are probably gonna be all right!
I feel bad for the supervillain guy. Personally I love the idea of playing the part of an over-the-top foil to the RLSH movement. It could be a good-natured and amusing way to poke fun at a misguided subculture, but it sounds like he went overboard with his obsession and became a bit of a villain himself. I’m glad he…
You don’t have to be Japanese to enjoy Japanese games. I finally bought my PS4 this year, but if I wasn’t able to, I reckon I’d be satisfied on PS3 for at least another year. Hell, I didn’t get my PS3 til 2010 and I was having a wild time up until then. Some of my favorite PS2 games came out after the PS3 launched. I…
My point being it’s not just Activision and shovelware; there’s still some neat stuff for those currently unwilling or unable to make the leap.
Persona 5 is set to be cross-gen, whenever it’s coming out. Tales of Zestiria is also cross-gen this October.
