I read an interview with Jeremy Blaustein on the Suikoden 2 translation and why it was such a debacle. Apparently Konami just sent him a .txt file with the game’s script mixed in with the source code and said “here, whatever, git er dun”. He had to play the game while referring back to the .txt file to have any idea…
Context is everything.
Came here just to see if somebody posted this. Of course, somebody did.
Bender’s a derogatory pejorative for a gay person in the UK, where Rockstar hails from.
More like Hey Compile Heart Fans!
That’d look pretty sharp for 1995! SURELY THIS HAS MORE OF A `97 FEEL
TotalBiscuit is a manbaby doofus. And this is a nonissue because Youtube lets players are not tastemakers.
Thank You Based Titan
My friend worked on the localization. He says it’s a lot like Xillia. From where I’m standing, it looks nearly identical to it.
Didn’t the Gamecube have some of the better specs for that era? PS2 couldn’t run Killer7 or Resident Evil 4 nearly as well.
wha...seriously? due to SE’s track record, that’s the last thing i expected from that teaser page.
I’d think maybe it was due to them being Tri-Ace games, but it’s weird that FF7 Crisis Core is only available on UMD, too?!
I’ll take the dodgy TOSE port of Valkyrie Profile, while we’re at it
i’d be satisfied if it was just Star Ocean 1st and 2nd PSP released on PSN.
They have. Lately any Atlus 3DS game that has a price-gouged special edition includes an “art book” that’s effectively just a manual. Soft cover, A6, 20 pages or so, character bios and story outline. They’re nice, but I hate the fact that a game’s manual has become a freaking luxury item.
you never know, maybe we’ll see translations for the rest of the science adventure vita ports! i mean i’m not holding my breath or anything but a guy can dream
Who here’s getting the English-language PS3/Vita version of the first game? It’s due out next month and there’s a SWAGGGG special edition.
