Back during the beta, people would open up portals that teleported you to the black void at the very edge of a map. You couldn't move, you couldn't get out, even if you quit. You had to contact an administrator and ask them to put you back into the game. That happened to me a lot when I first started.

Once told a friend in high school that in the first level of Splinter Cell, you can grab a janitor and Sam Fischer says 'One wrong move and you can say goodbye to your nuts, fat boy.' My friend was on the fence about buying the game and that convinced him to do so.

also my boyfriend recently found me a first edition copy of The Iliad at a garage sale so I might give that a go

my mom once told me she was alone in an elevator with robert jordan and he let out a huge fart and then didn't say anything

I recently read Crichton's Sphere, because uhh Drew and Dan from GiantBomb were reading it and doing a podcast on it. Boy was that a piece of crap. Between all the ridiculous action sequences in which a fat old man fought a giant squid with a grenade-tipped spear, Crichton handled gender and race politics with all the

Heavier-duty hardware though.

AFAIK it used to be called Zwei and was a medieval Devil May Cry-style game in which you played as a guy and a girl who were chained together. Gawsh how things change.

But do we really need another game that's indistinguishable from the games that came before it? Wouldn't it be nice to have something a bit more original?

The last few chapters were so chock-full of enemies that all had one-hit kills, I was grateful when the final boss was one you couldn't lose to without trying. BAAAAD GAAAAME

Don't do it, Patrick! It was a bad, bad game!

Have you checked out Cartagra yet? Kara no Shoujo's 2005 prequel that was released by MangaGamer last Halloween. I've been meaning to check it out myself when I have some spare time. Real nice music in the demo.

Are you sure? Japan sure loves their visual novels and graphic adventures.

i practice bdsm but i don't want to spank children

That's not censorship because it's not state-enforced!

But fucking hell is this paedo-riffic. There are so many good dungeon crawlers out, and many more coming out. Do you really need to play the one where you strip a seven year old girl to her underwear and spank her ass?

Bring it on, fat boy!

Torment was meant to come out in December 2014, wasn't it? They're still taking pledges on their website so that probably means an imminent release is unlikely D:

I've been desperately googling trying to find out the contents of this scarlet letter e-mail. haven't had any luck, but it looks like some other lady set up an Elizabeth Vagnoni Hate Blog? This lady seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way!

how much new content can they actually offer , dummied out on old systems? i imagine these 'new changes' are probably using the new 3ds's new analog stick.

I own the PS1 disc! But I want to play it on my Vita during my upcoming 30 hour flight to New Zealand. So I'm happy to purchase it.
