Here's full payment in advance with no contractual obligation. REALLY?

Wow! It's just like being on the podcast!
That was the plan, they say. But then, Winterkewl's Kris Vale says, one of their artists quit after two weeks to join LucasArts—keeping the $35,000 lump sum they'd paid him—and his new contract prevented him from working on the Yogventures project.

I'm thinking along the lines of The Major from GITS, or Revy from Black Lagoon. Or even Kirie from Uzumaki—though not a battle-hardened action girl, she has a balanced personality and handles herself proficiently in some terrible situations. Well, up to a point.
I really couldn't get into this. Yeah, sure, some of my favorite animes (re: Eva) use symbolism as hyperbole and visual flair. But right off the bat with this, "why is she the coffin princess?" was immediately answered with "she carries cool guns in it and it looks cool".
But I really couldn't dig it because I'm tired…

Did you guys get 2 Wii stateside? We got it here in EU. Nobody outside Japan got 4 (officially) though :( I hope we get this!
They don't *own* it outright, but they seem to have entered into a publishing contract with Koei Tecmo. 4, the Wii remake of 2 and this game are published by Nintendo. Like Bayonetta 2.
I get what you mean. Somebody once showed me both the TV anime and the film adaptation of Cromartie High School. And it was like wow...these are both scene-for-scene carbon copies of the manga. Why would I sit and watch these? What's the point?!
Did you play those recent games that didn't come out here? Beyond the Labyrinth on 3DS, and a Monster Hunter-clone for PSP? I didn't, but I was curious about them. Seems like Tri-Ace aren't really doing much these days. I saw that they helped out on Lightning Returns...but it seems like we'll never see another…
I just had an image of Adol smashing in Panwshop Pim's teeth with the golden pedestal.
New inmate, "Hey dude, I loved you in Black Ops 2"
I don't know Patricia, I'm usually with you, but I don't know how I feel about this article. If Temkin is completely innocent, then he has no reason to apologize in his post. That said, I do agree with your sentiments on his paragraph on rape culture, it's pretty clumsy.
AD Police is basically Blade Runner-lite. Despite that, I recommend it. Also, its spiritual successor Parasite Dolls is pretty good too.
I was going to take part in this, but schoolwork took priority. I hope they run another contest :>
But morality is a societal construct that differs from place to place, making this completely subjective. Not to mention reminiscent of eugenics...
