Nothing stands out as being special or unique at CNS, a nice variety but the standard hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, etc as far as I remember.

I assume that you are talking about Saturday night only.
racinboys.com does the Tuesday-Saturday C mains PPV if you want to...you know....pay.
I have only been to Ike’s and see no reason to try anywhere else in Tulsa. Besides, they used to help sponsor one of the push trucks (the old red Bronco that I think has worked all 29 previous Chili Bowls) and that is good enough reason for me.
Try the Three Way.
Not sure, I think it took a few laps on practice day at the Chili Bowl.
I am sure that they will show the B’s and A main again like last year.
The streaming service is for those that do not have MavTV on satellite or cable (fuck you DISH Network)
Nope, can’t buy a bowl of chili in the building. You can get a chili frito pie but not a bowl of chili.
Gotta go to Ike’s Chili for that. And yes, it is very good.
The ski was never intended to run, it was a joke on practice night.
Any building engineer should be able to tell you how often the air inside a structure turns over with the air handling equipment that is available. I think the real problem came with so many caution laps....not sure about the go karts but the midgets will put out more noxious gasses while idling than at racing RPM.…
A lot bigger of a track than the hockey rink provided.
So many have been attempted, only a few have truly succeeded. The Indy Invitational suffered from too small of a track....and not enough dirt. It’s too bad that the Lucas Oil Stadium was not an option.....they could have a decent enough sized track in there.
Agreed, it was most likely not intentional....but it was arrogance/ignorance if true that they were warned at least twice by tech that the %’s were very close. I would bet that someone at KBM rounded a number the wrong way when doing the fuel burnoff/tire wear/rubber accumulation math and did not leave themselves a…
Another good cheating story I heard was the same DLM HoF car owner that threw the weight apparently can tell you exactly how many cigarette butts it takes to make an oversized engine pass the pump.
I have spent over a thousand nights at my local dirt tracks and have seen all sorts of DQs. Some are caused by intent, some are caused by mis-calculations, some are ignorance. Scott Bloomquist was DQ’d three straight appearances for being light at one of the tracks I worked.....even after being reminded that he…
In 1989 Doug Wolfgang dominated winged sprints in the Danny Peace owned car, unofficially nicknamed the “HUD House Car” due to Peace (or his girlfriend, cannot remember which) being arrested for stealing large amounts of money from the government funded housing program.
I just bought a book on Amazon titled “Umbrella…
Humpy DID. He “retired” about 5 years ago when Bruton Smith decided that his kid needed a job.
This looks like nothing more than off season filler to keep the F1 and Mercedes name in the press. Nothing of real significance here.
The first line of Wolff’s statement says it all. ”If it were to become detrimental........” Well duh, the same thing could be said for any team sport, racing or not. If team chemistry…
Just the big boys who come in to try and steal a big race. The regulars know the rules.
How about something a little older in Georgetown CO?
I have no idea what the local time was when the F1 race ended, but I gotta believe they could have left the lights on for another 45 minute race before any curfews kicked in.
