I graduated in '06 kicked around in TV for 5 years. Got laid off once, then got a job at another station making 10 bucks an hour. Said the hell with it, and now I'm incurring significant debt to go do something worthwhile.
This is why I decided to go to med school. My journalism degree is worthless.
iRacing is totally worth it. Go to http://www.cadillaccupracing.com/ and you can get a FREE 3 month trial. You'll get the World Challenge Cadillac, and a bunch of other free content. NOTE: You DO have to buy new cars and tracks and you DO have to pay the monthly fee. The initial outlay is daunting, but it's worth it.
One problem is that for a year or so, they will release DLC cars. There's a 99% chance that pretty much every DLC will be one from Forza 4. Just port the models from FM4, add in the night time stuff and they'll sell the car packs for 600 points.
Exactly. The Rear of the 911 starts to come around just as he hits the DeltaWing.
Because the Porsche slipped off the corner and made contact with the DeltaWing? That makes sense.
They would never have called the game. A few years back Selig passed down an edict that said all playoff games must be played to completion.
Bring back Vin Scully. He did the commentary for MLB '99, a predecessor to the The Show franchise. I didn't appreciate it back then, unfortunately.
This isn't NASCAR. You can't just weld some pipe together and hang sheet metal and have 2 cars. Most teams don't have spare cars sitting around. Falken has another Porsche but it's a previous generation model without an engine.
Arcade all the way. Nearly impossible to crash the car if you're racing.
LOL, it's arcade as hell. I couldn't get the car out of shape and it was impossible to crash even while going over the limits. Thanks Turn 10 for doing exactly what everyone feared you would do!
The tube-framed BMWs are dead. Turner is switching to Z4s next year. Also, Mazda is running an as of yet unnamed car with their new diesel in GX. Rumors are it will be a Mazda6. I don't see any other way to put a Mazda6 on the grid besides a tube-framed piece of crap.
He wasn't burned because he drove the car 100 MPH, he was burned because he crashed the damn thing.
That's where the fuel goes. One hole fuel in, the other hole air out.
And unfortunately they're probably sticking around in some capacity with Grand-ALMS.
Good those tube-framed pieces of crap are dead. So are the BMWs. Unfortunately, the "Camaros" are still around, and it's been said that the Mazda diesel engine is going in a Mazda6, which would make me this it will be tube-framed too. Ugh.
I remember when they put the lights up on 575. I never actually saw them working. Nothing will prevent traffic from slowing between Towne Lake Parkway and 92 during rush hour.
SBNation is made up of blogs others started. After they've been around for a while and have shown not to be awful pieces of shit SBN invites them to join the network. Most of the people running those blogs have been doing it for a while.
