This is by far my favorite Murray Walker call.

The final horse then slammed into a jet-dryer.
I agree wholeheartedly. As a former NASCAR fan, from the 20th century, I absolutely hate FOX and their coverage and the cutaway car. If F1 turned into that, I would stop watching in a heartbeat. SHOW THE RACE! We don't about all of the toys and other crap FOX crams into the coverage. Give me ESPNs old "scoring tower"…
He's not an ex-NASCAR driver. It's the offseason.
Dude, perfect!
I thought they didn't show it when things ran onto the field?
You can play Hard/Race Drivin' at [www.ssega.com.] Got to the racing section. Test Drive 2 is also on there along with alot of old Sega games.
That's not true. They had a quarter of the picks in the first two rounds thanks to compensation picks. If they had a quarter of the overall picks they would have had about 375 selections when the rest of the teams had 50 or so.

Those Hyundai taillights remind me of something I saw yesterday. I was on my way back from Atlanta to Florida and on 75 I passed an RV with Pontiac Grand Am taillights. The RV was the conventional brick shape, but the rear lights were the rounded. It looked terrible and made absolutely no design sense.
Thundercougarfalconbird!
Roland Ratzenberger died what, the day before he did? He was certainly dead on the track. I don't know if you guys have seen the broadcast footage. They show the medical crews giving him CPR and the whole lot.
When we hear the words "Disney" and "accident" together, the newsroom acts like it's Christmas.
@Isetta: No it's not. If you read the AP article, it says that the security at the airport has been called into question before.
@ttyymmnn: Synchronicity.
Call me when you get to preview The Show.
@Isetta: I'd have to guess he died. He could have been dead when he landed head first on the ground. If not, the car that hit him killed him.
