Perhaps Castro was incredibly mentally ill. If so, shouldn't we as a society treat him like a person who was mentally ill?

HOLY CRAP ME TOO! Seriously, is this where all the lady physicists are hiding? Please tell me at least one of you is in theory.

Awesome!!! Hi!!! Always good to meet another member of the Crazy Awesome Physics Brigade! :D

Thanks for this. Really. :) I'm a physicist and a college professor, at a religious school. And honestly, the Bible professors are the ones, shaking up people's religious beliefs, not the science professors.

While I do appreciate how important people's faith are to them, we really need to move past the concept that religion has a place in our science curriculum. For those like myself who are atheists, then science is a great way to explore the cosmos. For a person of faith, then learning something new in a science class

I'm pretty sure 99% of Jez's readers have always been well aware that he's a manipulative asshole. Have a look back through the comments on some of his articles...

I agree it's a shitty argument... I just mean I want to have 100% control over what happens to my body, and I wouldn't give even a little bit of that control over to anyone else.

Dr . Twinge said she had all this data proving I was narcissist

I behaved like this in college and I was the despairingist, most self-medicating headcase on the planet.

I find it interesting that you need to say that they're "happy" in order to defend the behavior. Few people I knew like this in college—male or female—were, in fact, anything resembling happy.

I wish Ira Glass would interview the cast of the OC. He was a major fan and hearing his voice ask these questions would be so much more satisfying.

What scares me is that there are people who actually find these characters relatable.

AFter watching last night's show, I think it's time for us to all be honest. This show is actually awful. It looked like it was going to be something but it is official now. It's not. The characters are unrelatable and unlikeable. They do incomprehensible things and lives lives that make no sense in reality.
