I have a Buc-ee’s sticker on my car here in CA and people always ask me what the hell it is.

I was just in Boise a few weeks ago and missed all of this. I have to have a word with my friends and family up there about this miscarriage of justice...

Also a Giants fan, and frankly I can’t stand either one of them. A fine pair of dicks, frankly.

The yellow Greenbrier in the background of a couple of the photos is spectacular...

Peterbilt Tomato truck for a summer in Dixon, CA. Two trailers! Followed by 40' transit buses (Gillig Phantom) and Routemaster double-decker London buses.

As a child with 50% Lebanese ancestry, I grew up on kibbeh and it’s still one of my favorite foods and happily easily found here. The same is true of tabouleh (which is almost universally made incorrectly with way too much goddamn parsley and not enough lemon juice), but these never quite live up to my grandmother’s

Me: Good lord that is that guy an asshole!

Love me some Twingo.

I drove almost the exact same vehicle in Bremen a couple of times back in the ‘90s and driving on the Autobahn was terrifying. It can barely get out of its own way.

I live for that day.

I lived in Berlin for years and only ever heard of it referred to as “Ente”, ohne “lahm”. Det is mir neu.

This pisses me off.

Cost is literally the only reason I don’t go to more games. I’ve been a Giants fan for 50 goddamn years, but I’m not made of money, so I basically just watch games on TV.

Also, any “influencer” out there promoting open-face, leather-less, ripped-pants on a motorcycle can fuck straight off into a horrible, disfigured death. It’s hard enough to keep my teenager from doing a somewhat limited set of stupid shit.

Frankly, if you eat any canned or processed tomato products we’re all eating bugs and rodent droppings. I speak from personal experience working at a tomato grading station in Dixon, CA one summer.

Guess he hasn’t read the local news in SF about the mind-boggling number of car break-ins! Leave a couple of quarter in the cup holder the car you parked on Brannan for a couple of hours at night and you’re practically guaranteed to return to find a broken window (and no quarters in the cup holder).

If the ergonomics were fine for you, then great. Every model Corolla I’ve driven was terribly unpleasant to drive. Clearly, not everyone fits every car.

Looks like something Kurt Russell would drive in a movie called “Escape from Bakersfield”.

I don’t doubt it since that’s not to difficult a hurdle. The previous models were abysmal IMHO. The ergonomics were particularly bad.
