I think a case could be made for including Babylon 5 here - almost any of the big fights. This was the first major series to really show space battles with some serious reality - a sense of scale, with ships kilometers away from each other firing; a sense of motion, with the proper show of inertia and how spacecraft

Bautista was one of the highlights of Blade Runner 2049. A couple of my friends didn’t even realize it was him until I mentioned it. He’s also fantastic in the criminally under-rated Hotel Artemis.

Jesus H. Christ, give me a little warning next time. You’re hyping this like it’s a brand new breach, not the one that occured in January. This is old news.

This movie is a sublime classic. When I saw Cabin in the Woods I immediately thought of this movie. I worry that it couldn’t be made today, given how easily plot details get into general knowledge, like the “twist” in Godzilla vs Kong that was in goddamned headlines because of merchandise time-in releases.

This is missing a tragically unknown entry, the incredibly stylistic “Bunraku” from 2010, where he plays the most powerful man east of the Pacific in a post-guns world. The set design, lighting, cinematography, are all just staggering. And the CAST - Josh Hartnett, Gackt, Woody Harrelson, Ron Perlman (natch), Demi

Your list is surprisingly stacked toward relatively recent movies. How about Night of the Comet?

Yul Brenner’s cameo when Bernard/Arnold is walking through the service tunnels under the park. Whoa.

Eventually, everyone will get this. It’s too perfect a virus - long incubation period, contagious before symptomatic, and not too deadly (about 2% mortality so far). Once they’ve developed a vaccine, it’ll probably be included in the yearly flu vaccine. There’s no safe, but there is prepared. Just be smart - wash your

So, the whole bit about dinos changing gender when necessary that made up a foundational piece of the very first Jurassic Park movie, just kinda forgot about that one, right?

“Despise” - yet here you are commenting on a anime/manga article.

Getting a very Kentucky Fried Movie vibe off of this, with strong overtones of nostalgia.
