I don’t disagree with the fact that he should know better. I do feel like I need to point out something that everyone’s forgetting, because nobody remembers history at all:

Having a strong sense of taste is not the same as being a supertaster. Generally, it’s a genetic abnormality that results in certain chemicals (usually PTC (phenylthiocarbamide) and PROP (propylthiouracil)) tasting bitter rather than sweet. While it varies greatly from person to person, most supertasters will tell you

I can get behind this. I’m a supertaster, which caused no end of dismay with my mom when I was a kid and she’d try to feed me beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, etc. I’ve never been a “fan” of beer, although I will drink it to sustain a buzz once I’ve reached it through other means. Weirdly, my favorites are Miller

Don’t feel too bad. Neither of the first two people in this thread know how to spell “paid” correctly.

I hope you’re proud of yourself. You’ve gone and killed that poor innocent site.

Thanks for trivializing the murder of a black man to further your hatred of a sports team.

Hi, white St. Louis native here. I don’t mean to #notallwhites or anything, but everyone I have interacted with today, in person or on social media, white black or other, conservative or liberal, unanimously agrees that this was a shit decision. So maybe the white people you know “don’t seem as upset over this”, paint

Well, think about how many kegs your average megabrewer sells, and how many times they reuse them. Yeah, they get them cheap, if they don’t make them themselves.

For storing water, I recommend throwing a kegger - and keeping the keg. Deposit on a half-barrel, 15 gallon keg is usually about $25, and they don’t really mind if you tell them upfront you’re keeping the keg. Just make sure you have a hand-powered tap (or a good relationship with a CO2 supplier).

Are you actually putting people who corrected your 1000% error in the very first sentence back into the greys? Why not just comment and say “Sorry, corrected.” Own your damned mistake, don’t try to hide it under the rug.

You’re missing four orders of magnitude there. 143,000,000 people.

This is what, the fourth article specifically about this scene on a Gizmodo-related site in the last month? Couldn’t all of them have been summed up with “Cocaine is a hell of a drug” and left in a dusty corner of the worst decisions in literature history?

The mom from Stranger Things. Given away by the background only, really.

This choad is an staffer to the newly elected “Democratic” (Trump-supporting) Mayor of St. Louis, Lyda Krewson. I really hope she knows just how much he needs to be fired.

All of these entries, all of these dupes, and not one mention of my nomination: Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. Album-Oriented Rock at its finest, with a beautiful art book included in the double-album. OOOOOOOOOWWWAAAAAAAAAHhhhhhh

Pixar didn’t do the localization, Disney did, and they did a CRAP job of it. In almost every case, the British release of Ghibli films were much better English dubs than Disney’s. They put the money into the quality, not the star power of the names. They used voice actors, not screen actors.

Only Yesterday is a charming film. The japanese voice acting is immaculate. Disney refused to release it because a small portion of the plotline involves memories of the main character having a “Are you there God, it’s me, Margaret” moment, and the teasing that went on around that. The Mouse refused to touch that. Too

I tell you, it’s a good thing I’m not pure evil. I was driving the interstate the other day and saw a woman in the passenger seat with her foot sticking out the open window. I wondered to myself, “If I put a looped rope around her foot and let the tail fall under the back wheel of her driver’s car, what would happen?

Non-Spoiler review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (or as I call it, Valerian and Laureline)
