Not every team can aspire to the class of <checks notes> West Virginia...

I have long told students to read their work out loud, from hard copy, with a red pen or pencil in hand to find mistakes. Then one of my students told me that she had Siri read her paper to her. So now I offer that as a suggestion for how to get it done as well (but still with paper in hand to track errors and then

The Five Eyes are all either the US or members of the Commonwealth. France is part of the Nine Eyes, so they cooperate with the Five Eyes, but given that the original framework for the Five Eyes was established when France was a German puppet, it makes more than a little sense that they wouldn’t be included.

Remember when he made Sean Spicer go out and insist that “covfefe” was a really-real-thing and not falling asleep on his phone?

No, thank you!

Use CopyMeThat. Chrome extension or bookmarklet for other browsers, it basically does what this extension does, but clips the recipe to your collection. In their mobile app then, the screen stays on, you just have the recipe, and now you have it saved for next time.

You got it:

Because you asked:

I’m not going to post the link to my daughter’s online storefront...without being specifically asked.  :)  But if you want the good S’mores, I’m just saying that we’ve got them.

My third grader reads voraciously. We have to tell her to put books down far more often than just about anything else. Would she read the 20 min/day, 3x/wk anyway? God, yes. Pizza is the icing on the cake (which is a gross image). When she gets an ice cream cone coupon from Braum’s instead, she’s kinda pissed.

Mildly off topic, but my wife went to HS with a guy whose last name is pronounced “geyser.” He enlisted in the Navy. As a result, he spent a considerable amount of time being officially referred to as Seaman Geyser.

Try CertainDri antiperspirant. When I first started using it, I put it on nightly for the first week or so. It got things under control and then I went to every 2nd or 3rd night. Whether I aged out of it or what, I now just use regular antiperspirant in the morning and Certain Dri maybe once a month. After what was

Having taught classes with a number of KU athletes, including basketball players, I can conclusively claim you have literally no idea what you’re talking about. I mean, it’s not like we’re UNC or Mizzou.

Because McGwire. :)

Officially, 34/41, but actually 35 because “Atlanta” and “Braves” were somehow not accepted as a right answer on one of the questions where they should have been. Also, really wish I’d noticed the date on one of the questions, would have landed me one more.

Been listening to Carolina Chocolate Drops and Rhiannon Giddens for the last ten years, and I’m really excited about this project. Freedom Highway was so good and the comment at the end about her show at Sing Sing just smacked me in the face. Thank you for this interview.

I’ve recently started using Strong, and it’s pretty good. I’m not a huge fan of picking up my phone a lot, but it does make it pretty easy. You can build workouts from a big library, specify and update reps and weight, and include auto rest timers if you want.
