The S197 was designed in 2005, same year is the e92. You seem pretty confident about that new M3, what numbers are you basing that on?

Interesting... though power isn't really the problem in either case. We don't yet know even what engine the 2015 Mustang will be getting, so power is a question mark. It'll be interesting, but I'll bet the M3 isn't going to be ahead by much if anything, simply because it's based on the basic 3 series, which is being

The S197 Mustang has been around since 2005. Perhaps BMW is lagging in its product cycles as well, although the prior e46 M3 was built from 2001-2006.

The M3 being tied in performance by a base Mustang GT was ok with you, but painting one orange and putting a track name on it, THAT signaled the death of the M brand for you? Strange.

You may have to take it slow at first. I'm not sure if R&T readers are ready for oversteering bagels just yet. Congrats.

Roberto has been RAGING about 6.0 since it went live.

You and Roberto should hook up...

What impressed me most, Greg's left rear suspension broke when he entered the loop. His car was bouncing over the apex upside down, and then at the bottom of the loop, he was fighting the car to keep control. That had to be very sketchy from the driver's seat!

Funny enough, as a motocrosser and Isuzu NPR owner, I think the H100 would actually have a market here. It slides in under the Isuzu NPR in size and weight, yet, it's more of a truck than van options like the Dodge Sprinter van (which is also crazy expensive). I think yard work businesses, motocrossers, and anyone

That's nice. But get back to us when it breaks a 100mph lap at the IOM.

Dust, or carbon blow out from the exhaust?

At what speed will the g-forces cause you to black out?

Women. They won't tell you what they want, but they'd damn sure tell you what they don't.

How in the world does this thing weigh so much? 3,250 as the manufacturer's pre-production quoted weight? Wow. That's only 150 less than the Mustang GT, which is a MUCH larger vehicle. Strange.

But, now we can't even collapse your photo dump. Or at least, it isn't by default (I don't see anywhere to change that). So, the first comment can just spam the front page with comments and unhidden photos?

My similar thoughts, in exploded view: http://jalopnik.com/oppositelock/forum?comment=50458860

Nothing.

Wow that thing is a special kind of ugly. It's like they set their Proportion Generator to "Random" and just went with the result.

Props for coming here to give your side of the story.
