Neat! I designed the sheet the way I did because I get paid monthly (booooo). Your method sounds great too though for folks with a different income type though—would you be willing to share it on Google Docs? I know a ton of people have copied mine, but I know some probably don't like mine for one reason or another.
Hi Bob,
Hi Drake,
Glad to hear it! If you have any thoughts or suggestions, please let me know. I'm always tinkering with it, so if I make any changes to the script for example I will update the shared document (obviously I have 'my' copy I use for my stuff). Please feel free to share the link with whoever might need it.

Here you go! A few notes:
- It's set up to automatically add a menu item named Script Center Menu to manually update the income total. It should automatically update it on its own, but it doesn't hurt when you're switching between sheets to run it once if you've changed something…

I used to use Mint, but it was too easy to 'lose track' of my thoughts when purchasing, and to ignore the piling expenses. It's funny, it made it so easy to track my spending that I stopped doing it, leading to more spending than I had done before.
If this is something you're interested in, I would personally recommend just using a service like LastPass. Generates secure passwords, stores them securely, and works on just about everything.
Correct. Now, they may eventually make it available to the US, but I'm personally not going to count on it.
My mother, every single time she flies these days, posts on FB thanking me, my older sister, and my younger brother for always being such wonderful fliers. We then take the opportunity to remind her how awesome a job she did keeping us busy and out of everyone's hair!
Depends. If someone who was coming from a purely development background had proposed this idea, I think it might have gained more traction. I think a lot of the backlash (or at least, the reasoned backlash) came from her Feminist Frequency videos. I initially backed her Kickstarter because I thought something good…
Here's the thing. I am a woman, and I play video games. I built my own computer, I regularly upgrade it, and I play console, portable, and PC games with equal abandon.
If they have any goddamn sense they would be all over this.
No problem! I hope you like it. And if you're ever in the Lake Winnepesauke area of NH, you should give them a call and ask to visit. The facility is amazing, and they're more than happy to tell you about the process and how it all goes down. Really lovely people.
I'm going to jump in ahead of the forthcoming article to pass along my favorite roasters:
BURNT BACON IS DELISHOUS YOU BE QUIET.
Please please please. I would buy all the DLC.
*raises hand* I do. I don't get many chances to exercise, and I've posted in the past on how I've integrated my gaming with my exercise. This would just be the next logical step.
Definitely for the office, though I'm in the same boat about whether it would bother anyone else. I might ask around and see if anyone objects to it. I work in an open lab, so I can't concentrate the light in a cubicle or anything.
