@scrapking: Because it gets you entries into sweepstakes per transaction.

"wept over Aeris, the murdered young women"

@yantelope: Of course, I managed to kill two birds with one stone by doing a second free trial of Prime and preordering then.

@Kovitlac: ... You wouldn't happen to be the same Kovitlac of RKC fame, would you?

@VincentGrey: You don't need to have a parent in the school system to have that kind of scrutiny—my mother had a spy network I swear. I couldn't so much as pick my nose without her hearing about it. She had a little saying, "I might not find out right away, but I will find out."

@Nulls: I'm preparing for a role in the Mass Effect movie. Even if it's only a grunt role. :)

@brida: I would hopefully create a video game that utilizes voice control instead of a controller, centering around a cat. There's a whole lot of college-speak that justifies the cat as a character choice, but it would basically be an attempt to integrate voice control as a way of simulating an AI, along the lines of

Well, for those who might be interested, my appeal for a video game-focused fellowship was accepted for consideration, and I'll hear back from the committee Monday or Tuesday. My conversation with the head of the Academic Council (the body of professors in charge of fellowships) went very well; he understood all of my

Zombies. I literally cannot play Resident Evil 4 beyond the first house because I know there's 2+ of the zombie bastards (and you can't tell me they're not zombies) waiting to gnaw on my boobies. No thank you!

So my application to write a video game for my senior year was rejected on the grounds that my academic record wasn't up to snuff (I have a 3.38 GPA, wtf?) and that I hadn't taken enough art classes. Thereby completely missing the point that the only art classes available at my school are traditional media, and there

@madammina: Red Dead Redemption. Absolutely. And since it won't be coming out for a week or so after my finals, I'll probably fill in the gap with some FFXIII. Only 9 hours in! <

@Ackers thanks Brian Ashcraft: I almost made the same mistake until I read some of the comments; saved me $20, I'll just wait until November kthx.

@Duuuuuuude: I actually tried that and several other variations.

Okay, this is driving me absolutely batty. I read an article on Kotaku recently (at least I think it was Kotaku) about video game narrative and design, and I can't seem to find it again. Can someone help me out? It had an excerpt from a book on the subject, and I'm dying to get my hands on the book in preparation for

We have these at my college in our teeny movie theatre (usually only shows artsy flicks, though Power of Ten was cool), and they are SO FRIGGIN COMFY. OMg.

@thejtrain: Umm, unless you're standing over my shoulder, I don't think you can say that it's "completely untrue". It says very clearly, "You must be connected to the network in order to authenticate your Collector's Edition", or something along those lines. Of course, I don't feel like booting the damn thing up just

I've been pissed about the way DA:O's DRM is handled since I bought the damn thing. Because I purchased the Collector's Edition and foolishly, you know, USED the free stuff I was given I now cannot play my save games unless I'm connected to the internet and ZoneAlarm decides to play nicely.

Freaking hell, if you're going to make these at least TRY to use the proper capitalization and words from the game.

Is it sad that the biggest reason I'm looking forward to this game is because it looks like they're going to do horses right?

@Odin: Very accurate - I'd give you a gold star, but you already have one. ;) I took 3 semesters of Japanese, wish I had the time to take more.
