Sikhs as a rule of thumb are quite conservative types and historically had been persecuted by both Hindus and Muslims. Younger Sikhs (in the UK at least) care much less for the historical grudge and are much happier to rub along with anyone.

Not to mention the Autoroute into nice has more spread cameras than any other stretch I've driven on between the south coast and Paris. I mean the run in is pretty and if there weren't cameras every mile or so it would be a blast. As it is you don't even get sea views just the backs of peoples houses.

I suspect it will work quite well at least for the domestic market. Evans is very much a safe pair of hands at the helm and is a MASSIVE car nut. As for the foreign market I’m not sure.

Not really top gear existed well before Clarkson et al. The format changed consistently over the years until Jeremy got hold of it when it stagnated for years. Each season had a stupid build where the 3 competed but it was all obviously the production team, a road trip somewhere (including a Vdub Beatle) and a race…
