I like how most of the dead Cubs fans are young.

Agree. I happen to be a mechanic for Maserati and I can wholeheartedly say I’m in no rush for them to build an EV. They have enough problems with stop-start ;)

I’ve driven two and found both of them boring. Fun in a car goes beyond “fast”...

Exactly this.

THANK YOU. This is exactly what I feel all the time. We don’t need to pretend Tesla is Jesus. Just give the plebs something clean and electric and I’ll take a Maser-engined SM and leave...

Tesla acceleration is exciting. Everything else about the experience is boring.

Oh I don’t. I’m sure the Tesla is a terrific machine & a blast to drive. I just feel like the powers at Jalopnik feel compelled to give me an update everytime Mr. Musk takes a crap. If you asked me to drive 1 or the other - I’d grab the keys to the Maserati in a heartbeat. I guess I have Tesla Burnout...and not the

Versus a Maserati - I’ll take the noise maker.

I have not. Too poor to ever own one...that might be the issue.

Full disclosure: I have not driven a Tesla. My big experience with electric is a Toyota Camry hybrid (I know...HORRIBLY boring and not a Tesla). With all of that said - I simply can’t get excited about the Tesla.

Just like there are writers “dedicated” to writing about the new Ford GT.

I like gas too. I hate boring cars as well. I like cars that burn stuff like tires... like this one.

K I get you like gas but I’m assuming you’ve never driven one, and experienced acceleration which flattens your brain. You may not like ‘lectricity but in no way can it be considered “boring.”

I do like it too, but I won’t shit Tesla, cause it’s a better choice over many(not all) cars for many(not all) people. And that’t future technology too.

I realize that Jalopnik has a team of writers dedicated Tesla/Musk & boring electric cars in general but I gotta tell ya...I’m soooooo sick of it all! I like gas. Cars that burn stuff and smell bad. Sorry fellas but I’m on Team Maserati.

One of my favorite bands of all time. If you are in to these videos and have never seen Stop Making Sense you should watch it immediately (it used to be on YouTube in its entirety). Arguably the best concert film ever made.

I wonder how many people quit their jobs immediately after listening to this song?

Funny, Tina Weymouth’s bass is bigger than she is! First saw them c.1976, still a big fan!

At a certain point in the boring eighties....these guys were the shit. Do some research kidz. Then come back and thank me. ;)
