My biggest problem with GTA V is if you’re not 100% fully invested in only playing that game, you never get anywhere. It takes way to long to amass enough money to enjoy the online portion of the game. (The cool vehicles at least.)

Obviously those stories are each bad for their own reasons, but it seems possible there’s also a bit of reporting bias here where things that might otherwise have been relatively small, local news items are getting more attention than normal as part of a news trend.
