I’m not so sure hidden lights qualify as a “marked” police car. We don’t have unmarked cars here in Ohio, and thank god, because unmarked cars serve no purpose other than revenue enhancement.

Red Sport? So like, killin commies?
It doesn’t matter what the self-driving car does.
Torchsputnik.
If you had built yourself into a wealthy person, wouldn’t you expect to enjoy the luxuries that you earned?
I still don’t approve of these attacks on payday lenders.
That’s not how headlights work.
It’s an almost production-ready design.
Double what first-year First Officers make, minus many recently implemented sign-on bonuses. $45k is about what a 4-5 year FO makes at regionals. Captains typically top out around $90k, before benefits.
But that would require me to operate in an airspace system that is decidedly subpar. And live in China. No thanks.
You didn’t know that insecticide spraying was a thing? I thought that was common knowledge. The entire city of Columbus and suburbs got mailings a month or two ago informing us about invasive pest spraying.
Why? It’s a NASCAR race. Aren’t they always packed? Is it because it was a million fucking degrees out?
I think this is the first bad decision Mazda has made since they started making good decisions. They’re not going to sell many of these trucks here in the US. Maybe in other markets, but not here. There are only a couple small truck options, but the market is saturated even with that. Nobody really wants a Mazda truck.
I find that the red button makes it a lot easier to hunt for the buckle, especially at night. I’d rather have it red myself.
Still confused. Underground Racing has been doing this to Lamborghinis for years, AMS has been doing it to GT-Rs, several companies have been doing it to 911 Turbos...these are the stoutest supercars on the market.
The accident seems to be the truck’s fault. Musk has pledged to investigate the car. Even though it wasn’t legally the Tesla driver’s fault, it still exposed the problem with their system which could be helpful.
There doesn’t need to be a stop sign there in Ohio law. If there’s a line, you stop at it. If people don’t stop at it then that’s their fault for breaking the law.
No, this is what happens when humanity uses judgement without training. I don’t seem to have any of these problems when I’m flying my little tin can airplane into international airports surrounded by big things going way faster than me. We’ve all been trained very thoroughly and are following a very strict set of…
I sent an email to the SAE recently about this. I asked them to study the effects of very bright DRLs and always-lit instrument clusters on the usage of headlights at night. I also asked that they recommend that automakers stop including these features on cars. Here in Columbus, OH, over the past couple years I have…
