I wish there was a way I could send this article to my girlfriend of 3 years so she would entertain this idea. Her 62 year old aunt had an ancient one put in sometime in the dark ages that scarred her and rendered her infertile causing my girlfriend to be deathly afraid of them. She'll just see it as me trying to make

Always love seeing FZJ80 love.

Totally spot on with the bundling of dealerships being an issue. When I go to pick up a new fleet vehicle (normally a Silverado 1500) I'm going to a Chevy dealer in an "auto-row" wedged between a highway and a less than reputable mall surrounded by office parks and motels. Next to that Chevy dealer? A Cadillac dealer.

As a former Spru-can sailor it feels nice seeing the Foster still serving a mission, even as a punching bag. My ship (Fife) was sank in a SinkEx shortly after decom when they couldn't find a buyer for it, they shot the whole bow section forward of the forecastle off and it stayed afloat. Tough boats.

Anywhere in LA you wanted to go and were denied? If so, did they say why?

I'm going to request a place NOT to go, Seattle.

Being a Seattle kid, these Hydros and the Blue Angels during SeaFair week defines Summer.

There's a solid amount of Unimog's rolling around up here too. I love this.

Awesome! Good to see it resurrected!

I just saw one this morning on my commute. My girlfriend thought I was having a stroke as I handed her my phone to get a pic. Then she said "oh that does look pretty cool", love that woman.

If you can come during SeaFair you'll get to see not only the museum but the Blue Angels (who park in the area next to the museum parking lot) and a full airshow complete with old warbirds.

I had an Emirates flight from Bahrain to Frankfurt that if you told me I was in coach I would not have believed you, it was seriously nice.

Hooyah

Outside of uniform regs normally. Deployed is another story in some areas/jobs, but generally not allowed.

Yep, that makes sense. They looked rather skinny too.

There was a det that were training with them in Coronado in '11 when I went back for an instructor tour. Seemed like they were going to be taking them on soon from how they were talking about them, could be wrong, but I can't think of any other Corps unit that I saw training with them. I don't know of any of my guys

2nd Unit Force Recon loads out with them from time to time. They're usually allowed those beards too.

The P-270 Moskit ( SS-N-22 Sunburn) anti-ship missile.

While in high school (1995-ish), I was riding passenger in my buddy's E21 320i. The car was set up for track driving by the previous owner, but it was never really taken to one. It had A LOT of power pumped into it from a custom turbo setup as well. The thing was a death machine, and nearly became that.
