Having never driven a NASCAR I turned to a conversation I had with Montoya (who has driven both). He was happy to give up the hardcore training regimen for his low workout NASCAR one.

How is it speaking down? It is a fact, oval racing is not that physically demanding. It is more mental. It is the same in IndyCar.

Amen. For us peons of racing, any sort of road course/track racing can be demanding. :)
