I’m climbing onto my little soap box real fast to point out that “white trash” is racist. It implies that trash people are all non-white as a standard setting, and that the “whiteness” of this trash person makes their trashiness somehow unique and different than standard trash.

So why do we do this with money? Kim uses her platform for good, does not lack empathy or self-awareness

If she REALLY wanted to post pictures and temper criticism, she could have donated an amount of money equal to what she spent on her birthday to a charity or handful of charities that help people who are food insecure and experiencing homelessness (or are in danger of homelessness) due to this pandemic. Just a thought

She’s aware of what she’s worth and what that kind of a following allows for monetarily, but she’s completely disconnected from how profoundly poor people are. She thinks she was poor when she was Paris Hilton’s stylist. I mean compared to where she is now she was, but still.

No

During another time, I might be inclined to agree. It looks like an amazing trip. However, we’re in a pandemic in which the public has been asked to shelter in place so as not to risk infecting others or their community. People have lost jobs and 200,000 people are dead.

Right? It’s a wise thing to recognise one’s privilege. It is not however a get-out-of-jail-free card.

It’s good when people can recognize their privilege but when they recognize their privilege every time they open their mouth (or keyboard) it just comes off as obnoxious and more like “look how much more privileged I am than you!”. Just shut the eff up.

I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40

Why does every story of Drake confirm his lameness?

none of whom appeared to be wearing masks (that’s not my life, I’m sure they got tested!)

Well, anyone who actually cares or feels genuinely remorseful about hurting or offending someone else wouldn’t have bothered with any of that dismissive “comment police” bullshit.

Wait—why wouldn’t you watch the WW segment before writing about it and saying it doesn’t seem that concerning? It was.....BIZARRE. Like I don’t watch the show, but after hearing everyone talking about Friday’s episode it took a two second Google search to find it and view it a short clip. And, yeah, it was worse than

I also have graves, I found that out while I was in the psych ward during what they thought was a manic episode. Turns out having a really excessive amount of thyroid hormone is similar to mania and it also explained my 140 bpm heart rate. That took awhile to go away. I don’t think William’s is a great person with or

I *promise* I’m not trying to pick a fight here... do you have any personal experience with Grave’s disease? Or with any autoimmune disorder? Are you an endocrinologist? It can take much longer than you’d think. And even when you think you’ve gotten it under control... BOOM! Nope, you don’t. And that’s assuming she’s

No,. I was selling my home when I was erroneously sentenced to 6-8 months. The sale went through, and I had already planned out the new mortgage, moving, etc. for my husband. It was years ago that you could do a non income qualifying mortgage if you could put 30% down. Which I could because of the sale.

That he doesn’t agree with voting while you are incarcerated. I know it’s controversial, but we all shod be thinking why it's wrong to vote if you are a citizen at any time.

Former incarcerated person here. When you are in prison, you are a ward of the state. Its as though you are a juvenile. You have to do what the government says when they say it. For example, they wouldn’t let us out in the snow. If you fall and hurt yourself it’s their responsibility. That is how they keep you from
